edit: It works now, I worked around it, it works now(H) If someone knows the answer though, please still help me.

edit2: Never mind, I absolutly hate this game, so slow, besides it doesn't give me the CM feeling I got from CM03/04

LMAO - CM03/04 had about as much 'CM Feeling' as watching a goldfish - totally dull and crappy. FM (well, the demo anyway) has soooo much more of the traditional CM feel than 03/04 ever it - still nowhere near 01/02 but a big improvement, it's what CM4 should have been.

I agree about the speed though, the demo is very slow for me so I hate to think what the real game will be like.

Stuff like Daemon Tools, Alcohol 120%, Nero Image Drive, and Virtual Clone Drive. The check isn't always accurate though; often it finds stuff you don't have, and also often it doesn't detect what's there afterall.

Cody, I really think it's your cra...ehm solution( ;) ) that's making it so worse. Cause I'm running FM here on a pc with 256 RAM and 700 MHZ on normal database with 2 leagues selected(England 1st and Holland 1st division) and it runs smoothly.

I had Daemon tools running when I first played my copy of FM, it didn't detect that :confused:

your saying its running slow......have you tried altering the speed settings in the user preferences? :(

I'm running 3 leagues (EPL, Spanish 1st and Italy Serie A) and Large Database. The worst part is starting a new game, it takes 15-20 minutes (P3 800mhz, 512 ram). THen the game runs great. Biggest thing I've noticed is the saving time, it's about 50% faster than the old CM games. Maybe its cos I'm on my first season, but we will see.

BTW I dont suggest checking "Full Detail", basically it sims every single game for that league, unless you really care about the match stats of West Brom vs Crystal Palace, I would suggest keeping that box unticked.

Hmm, the full game on my computer runs a lot faster than CM4 and CM0304 ever did. On my 866mhz P3 / 384mb SDRam / 32mb GeForce 2 with 4 leagues. (english premiership / championship, french ligue 1, danish league, finnish veikkausliiga) Took about 5 mins to initially load the game, and save/load is very quick too. I have extra facepacks for the premiership and french league teams too.

Have all 4 leagues on full detail too.

Nout wrong with Daemon Tom, I think it must've been something else. Or Liam gave you a link to some russian site instead (H)

extremely smooth running large database with 1 nation 4 leagues and "extra details" unchecked. the speed is same like playing gold demo

The game is running smoothly now for me too(Y)(Y) After I reinstalled it. Im running 3 leagues, and all the dutch players included on medium database.(Y)(Y) FM rules after all...

Is it just me or does the date not move when you hit Continue? I remember on 03/04 the date slowly advances but in FM it seems to freeze for a while then when you get to play the date is like a few days later.

Also, when you're simulating through (hit Continue), sometimes a popup comes up with some random game like Nantes and asks if you want to Play in Background. Each time I click it the simulation stops and I have to hit continue again.

My game recommends me to play all divisions in Belgium, France, Holland, Italy, Spain, and Portugal, on huge db and extra detail.

I keep it to England and Holland on large db and extra detail.
Suits me just fine, and runs like a dream.

It runs fine on mine but I run normally only run the country I am managing in.

I MUST SAY BUT *EXCUSE THE CAPS BUT I LOVE THIS OPTION*

Loading players from other countries is awesome, I am now just using the country I am in, and then loading players from Brazil, Holland and Sweden on Large Database.

Runs almost instantly.

I only run one or two leagues because I generally stick to one team in a game and If I want a new team I start a new game.
