Ruud will miss this game after having such a good outing in the Champions League. Anyway, the only changes I hope to see is, Smith for Ruud and Giggs for Miller.

I predict a 3-1 win for us.(H)

I predict a starting line-up like this :

---------------Carroll----------------
Gary------Rio----Silvestre---Heinze
Ronaldo----Scholes----Phil---Giggs
----------Rooney-----Smith----------

Miller seems to play quite well in the CL game. hope he will play well in EPL too. So do United. Lets have a big victory in the derby!!!

United 3-0 City
Rooney
Ronaldo
Smith

VanTheMan
05-11-2004, 07:17:PM
Man Utd 3-0 Man City

Sahax3

without a shadow of a doubt we have to win.and i think we will.
I hope to see smith and saha play upfront.

I don`t get it . . . Why a freakin` yellow ball ? :|:|:| I mean it looks like some sort of a rubber ball kids like to kick around in the park. And yellow colours tends to blend with the green colour of the grass, makes it difficult for live audience to see. That ball is crap. They should`ve kept it white . . .

Rooney didn't do anything in his 15 minutes, Giggs and Saha missed some easy chances, Smith after not having a yellow for quite sometime, got two at once. Great! After the Arsenal game, we picked up less points, than Arsenal themselves. FRIGING HIT THE ******* NET!!!!!!!!! WHAT THE HELL!!!!!!!!!!!1 :f***: :f***: :f***: . 11 points off the first place, great. What goes around comes around. The Saha incident in the first half should have been a penalty.

These are my ratings:

Carroll - 6 - Nothing to do
G.Neville - 7 - Did not deliver the balls
Ferdinand - 7 - Nothing to do
Silvestre - 7 - Surged forward and some interceptions
Heinze - 6 - Final ball was poor at times
Ronaldo - 6 - Too many tricks, crossing was poor :(
Keane - 7 - Couldn't inspire Man. United to victory
Scholes - 6 - Had poor touches that could've turned into goals
Miller - 6 - Didn't impress that much
Smith - 6 - Sent off but was determined and had shot blocked off the line
Saha - 5 - Offsides and sitter

Subs:

Giggs - 6 - Sitter and poor attempt at conning
Rooney - 5 - Had a shot blocked

I don't like to bash the players but when the form is poor, I have to do it.

Sh*t Happens
Unfortunately it happens too many times for us this season.

I can't believe that after 12 games, we are 11 points off Chelsea, with such a team. It's been like that the whole season we do really well, the next game we do bad, then we get angry do really well and then again do bad.

WTF, i dunno what ryan giggs does for united now, he always wasting the good changes in front of the goal. I suggest SAF buy or give change to the young player to replace Ryan Giggs. I dun believe MU reserve team dun have any good player to replave Ryan giggssssssssss.:f***:

Newcastle are low in morale surely. I hope the FA bans Souness from the touchline, then we will beat a Nicky Butt-inspired Newcastle.

I bet we couldn't score against an 8-man Newcastle if we keep playing crap football in the league.

Probably shouldn't have sold Butt also!

A player like van der Vaart would suit Man Yoo well.

I disagree with Fernandez's Ronaldo score. He didnt do too many tricks at all? If anything mate he didnt do enough. I mean sometimes he went down the left wing, nocked the ball ahead and crossed with his left, when we all know he could of easily cut back onto his right. Sometimes I think he doesnt wanna do too much and lose the ball, but he could.

He had a good game but like Andy Gray said he'll have games like that, he's learning.

About United, I dont think it was a particularly bad performance, should of been a pen on Saha, you had a few chances but City just defended the whole match, Carrol didnt have a save to make.

Looked like City went out with the same game plan they had against us. Only difference is we got the goal.

vaart is a creative attacking midfielder, he'd play great alongside scholesy, that IS what Man U needs

This was a dull game, IMO, and dropped points for Man Utd. the reason why they are where they are in the table

Typical, how many times did we screw up after a great game this season?

Win Fener and Spurs we then went on to drew Boro
Win Arsenal and Crewe we lost to Pompey
win Sparta, we then drew freakin City

we are lack of goals now. even man city and crystal palace score more goals that us. what a shame. what for we get 4 strikers but can't score goals. team performance are poor, i can't recall which of our midfielder have score now? giggs? my god, he miss the golden chance of the game. scholes? still can't get his name on the scoresheet and have few poor first touch. Keane? he just can't blast the ball into the net from 20 yards out nowadays. Ronaldo? do score for portugal but keep hitting post for man utd. the performance like this, i'm worrying whether we can finish as top 3 at the end or not :(

I don't think that they will be in the top 3 this season, unless a miracle happens, it is a pity that we could have got both Ronaldinho and Robben, then we would have that fear factor again

sky.

Saha was awesome, this is one of his best games but too bad he couldn't finish. He beat the City offside trap many times and don't tell me James wasn't afraid of him.

not much point asking for highlights since there isn't a goal..
but just wanted to know if man utd was really robbed by dodgy ref twice.. (once i can take, twice in one game is abit too much!)

Manchester derby. Exactly the replay of Arsenal/Palace. United could'nt have gone any nearer without scoring. If there wasn't such a intennse rivalry between the teams you would say United were doing favours to their fellow mancunians. As for the lady luck, it certainly eas smiling at United but tongue in cheek.
