Kewell the Jewell i agree on one thing arsenal and chelsea are on downward spirals
but leeds taking the title this year are you mad when it came to face the defending european, world, and FA cup champs what was the result, didnt leeds lose or were you blind to that. You should be trembling rather than shooting your mouth off manu are almost fully healthy and west ham got a taste of that sure they almost came back but only because manu took the foot of the pedal just as any team would at 3-0 in less than 20 min
leeds have done nothing in the last few years and the fact you guys have started like aston villa did last year doesnt suprise anybody, theres still another half of the season to go and leeds dont have the tools for the job.

AND Finally leeds in first are you a joke just like your team its only beacuse leeds have played one more than manu which means manu have a game in hand dont be as ignorant as your team is!!!!!!

Yep, so the last few years Leeds haven't done too much, almost like man utd for...ummm.....a bloody long time, the 90's have been great to them, but before the 90's there was nothing, no other fans except the real die hards.
And shall we take a look at last seasons results between man utd and arsenal and from that predict a treble winner ?
As team or player I would rather have the points in the bag than games in hand.

I have to say I like seeing Leeds in first and possibly win the Premiership and I'm not a Leeds fan but anything is better than Man U again. Even Sunderland in third is great.

You're right there is still half a season left which means Man U. can still slip up to many teams, (Remember that 5-0 thrashing to Chelsea, & 3-1 to Tottenham). Plus the teams they drew or beat by a goal, (Liverpool, Arsenal, Coventry, Derby, Southhampton, Wimbledon) Any of these could beat Man U. and I'm sure a few will.

Man U. beat Leeds at home (2-0, not exactly a thrashing) the third week into the season. That was early, I think things will be different next time at Leeds. They're doing well and getting better. Man U. is on the way down, the sooner the better.

Arsenal or Chelsea, but I hope Arsenal will win the league, not Man U for sure.

Leeds are just the Aston Villa of last season, they'll go all the way down the table in the 2nd half of the season.

Leeds have always been my 2nd team after Celtic and I'd love to see them win the Prem again but unfortunately it's gonna be a big ask as there's not enough strengh in the squad to see them through the season.
What they do have is "the energy of youth" (I think it was David O'Leery that said that after the Chelsea game) and I don't think they will be that far away come the end of the season. Definate Euro place.

May I all remind you that Leeds beat Chelsea 2-0. Unlike Scum United who lost 5-0.

I think that Leeds have a chance of winning the premiership, but I think that they would have a better chance of winning the FA Cup or UEFA Cup.

Do u seriously think that Leeds will do a Villa a slide allthe way down the table!?!?

You people must be crazy!!!!!
And Cantona who cares what teams have done in the past.......Leeds are young team who are on the rise...they will be a force for many years to come and this is just the start of a new era
and cantona played for Leeds so maybe you should change your name.....

And Leeds lost to Man U earlier in the season......that was the 3rd game!!!
and like FIFA freak said 2-0 aint no thrashing...man u only go there goals towards to end if Harry's shot hadnt come off the inside of the post then it would have been different....We'll just have to wait till Man U visit Elland Rd and then we'll see whos championship material.

And to all those people who keep bagging Leeds why dont you just stop and have a look at how much progress David o'Leary has made since taking over from GG.
leeds are young team that have alot of time to achieve success. If its not this year then its not the end of the world.

Ajax supporter ive already said youre an idiot but ill have to say it again.....

"Arsenal or Chelsea, but I hope Arsenal will win the league, not Man U for sure."

You still think that Chelsea have a chance of winnign the title????
Even they have conceded that is near impossible!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Do u even watch the Premier League!?!?!?!?
Stick to what you know and stop making a fool of yourself!

And finally you said that im a joke for saying that Leeds are top...Well im saying youre a joke for arguing with that fact...
Leeds are top!
it doesnt matter that Man U have a game in hand! Who said they will win that game!?!
geex why dont they just give Man U the points then and say theyre top!

This is a typical example of the stupidity that Man U supporters show...........

Well if Rivaldo is for sale I suggest Leeds try to get him, I know not very likely, but if they had Rivaldo I would make them the favorite to win the league, especially if Man U gets past second round of Champions League. Also I dont thing they will slide like Villa, they been consistent top 4 or 5 finishers last few season.

Well, I lived in Manchester for 14 years so generally I support Manchester United. Arsenal is on for nothing at the moment after losing 4 games so far in this season.(a record they had in last season season!!)

Manchester United is gonna loose to Bradford 2-0 . I know it. Trust me I am living in manchester (*0^) http://www.soccergaming.com/ubb/smile.gif http://www.soccergaming.com/ubb/smile.gif http://www.soccergaming.com/ubb/smile.gif http://www.soccergaming.com/ubb/smile.gif http://www.soccergaming.com/ubb/smile.gif

Maark, I truly hope that you weren't suggesting that it was I who is from manchester, cause then you certainly are as dumb as I think you to be.
Leeds is a good team, and if my team fails to win the league this season then Leeds or Sunderland must do so, PLEASE !!

Why does everyone here hate Manchester United?

They play beautiful soccer, they are the best English representation in European soccer nowadays, and all of their players are nice. It's harder to cheer for a team whose players don't even smile after scoring a goal...I can't forget Poyet's howls after scoring vs. ManU.... Why the blind hate? Just because they're good? (good? the BEST http://www.soccergaming.com/ubb/smile.gif )

I don't think the Championship is secure yet, but I think Manchester is still held as favorite for winning. They started out in a shaky fashion (5-0 to Chelsea, 0-0 vs Zagreb, etc.) but they did last year as well (3-0 to Arsenal, 2-2 Leicester). And now they've settled in, and they're ready to settle any doubts regarding the 99-00 Champions....

Leeds are a sympathetic club, but not a champion-style club...lol...

But hey, they'll make nice deputy-champs... http://www.soccergaming.com/ubb/smile.gif

why all the hate towards the red devils?

theres only one reason for this people you all are jealous rather than excepting the fact that manu in the past years have domintated the premier, and im not just shooting my mouth off they have the silverware to proove it. manu have also provided the future for england(becks, neville bros, butt, scholes, cole, sheringham) like it or not manu represent the best of english football. MANU at the moment are recognized as the best team in the world and there results have shown that. leeds still have a long way to go before they can say there better thant the reds. so why all the hate once again if you guys had a side with becks, scholes and other key members on your team im sure you wouldnt be complaining.

jealousy is what it all comes down too, so dont cry me a river, and say oh leeds, chelsea, and arsenal will do this and that proove it dont say it, oh and have facts to back up your stuff or dont respond!!!!

I think people don't hate Man U so much as they hate Sir Alex. They had a poll somewhere last year and he was voted the most hated man in English football. Its complicated why it is like that but its partly because he complains a lot that everyone is against them(FA, the refs, etc.), and maybe its something about his demeanor or things he says in interviews that pisses people off.
