Can Anyone help me please..

I have today purchased Fifa 2000 for the P.C and i have a problem. I have a Pentium 2 350, 64 meg of Ram and a Riva 128 graphics card. When I run the game it gives me the standard windows error that says ' illegial opperation'. I have downloaded the latest drives from nvidea (i think) but this
has not cured the problem. I have ran the game in software mode and have got the game to work, but is there anything i can do to get it working using my 3D hardware???
