Baros/Cisse/Pongolle and thats it! no-one else!

Im currently waiting till Le Tallec comes back, at least he is versitile.

Anyone else found this a prob?

Yea i also see this as a problem and Papa we only get 7 million Euros:kader: :kader: It sucks and for attacking midfilder we dont have the best opitions either... Richie sucks as a AMR his horrible in my game.

Also im finding it hard to win in my Pool game.

Partridge did very well in my game with Pool in the gold demo. I believe this was my line up

I'm finding it pretty easy with Liverpool only bought Kompany with my budget so far haven't played him much yet but i'm playing with a 4-3-3 and its working fine. Been playing Hamann, Gerrard and Xabi in the middle most of the time as well, Xabi is a giant in the midfield ratings wise hes one of the best players in the premiership in my game. :D

I would also say their is a lack of quality midfielders to play a whole season with liverpool using a system with 4 mids since their is really only 5/6 decent midfielders to start with, Foy and Partridge are absolute crap i think of about 5 games played Foy is on something like 3.8 avg rating. :(

Saying that I started off with 4 losses that put me far behind but i've finally got to 4th after 24 games.

As for forwards i've been also using Mellor and Garcia with Cisse, Baros, Pongolle, Mellor is not bad but only playing as a sub or starting in matches against promoted sides and in cup games.

I'm doing ok with Liverpool.... mid-season I'm top with Arse 2 points behind...
playing 41212 with Kirkland, Josemi, Carra, Sami, Riise; Xabi; Gerrard, Kewell; Garcia; Baros, Cisse
but yeah, we're lacking on midfield and attack cover... Pongolle and Hamann are decent enough but there's no one else! maybe I could try Finnan on the mid

Yea i had a crappy start to the season lost 3 matches then i changed my tactic and now iv been winning all my matches. I got Braatan and Zidan....Zidan is amazing he toke away Garcias spot away from the starting elevan after just 2 games.:D

Mellor is ok after a few games...
but I'm having a bit of a hard time with injuries...
Baros, Cisse, Pongolle, Smicer, Gerrard, Alonso, Garcia are ALL injured (well, Gerrard and Pongolle just returned from injury and are still <60%) so I have to play from DMC up:
Hamann
Welsh, Partridge
Braaten
Mellor, Kewell

Partridge keeps getting 4 and so does Warnock when I put him there

is zidan on normal DB? and is he good? someone could post a screenie of his attributes i'd appreciate it

Yes he is in normal DB. He is good. Here is a pic. I had him for my Liverpool game and he played really good. I had him on my Milan team but he complained about not settling in so i released him otherwise he is good and is only 4 million Euros which is pretty cheap.

Garcia struggles out on the wing for me, works best in a role just behind the strikers for me. Scored a couple of braces. (H)

Luis Garcai has 18 for penalties, so he is my main penalty taker. But the funny part is he missed 4(!) penlties in four matches almost in a row. You know what's up with that??

Yep sweet as 60k stadium now overall finances don't decrease over the season before the TV revenue. :p

Never actually noticed it until the board said they were expanding New Anfield at the start of the season to.

DOn't mind his stats.They are actually concentrated stats.So they work well.He is actually a world class player.His stats were similar in Cm03/04 and he destroyed defences.He does the same now and is also a very clinical striker.He is worth every cent.

Has anyone been able to use Smicer? We all know he's injured since the start of the game, but ive had 2 Liverpool games and during about November he decides to leave the club on a Bosman before he's fit to play again.

Yep same with me he was complaining about not playing when he was injured I think thats a bug in the game tho I let him leave had others coming in so he wasn't missed. didn't play many games tho I think I remember he kept getting injured everytime I played him. :confused:

I use this whole squad, by rotating tired players that are only sitting on say 92% stamina by the next match comes. So no one really gets a regular run in the team. And no one gets left out to whinge.

What do you think? Needs strengthening anywhere?

I'm just starting my second season after winning the Premier League and CL in my first year. Which is why i have the array of talent in my squad and buying players with a cheap upfront fee and loading the rest on 24 month monthly installments. :p

If anyone is after a really cheap, proven right winger Listzes might do the trick. Is at Werder Bremen and would cost around 1.5mil to prise away. (Will add this to the other thread.)

Well he was a god out on the LM for me on my last Liverpool game before it stuffed up, but on this one not quite so good, over 12 games (5 coming on as a sub) he has a rating of 7.36 with 4 assists.

I can play Kewell out there or Bierofka. But i think i might sell one or two at seasons end and invest in someone with more quality. Eg, van der Vaart, Vicente (i wish), Duff, Robben etc....

Van Der Vaart is brilliant in my game. Sneijder is also very useful out on the left

Downing is extremely impressive for me. I made friends with McClaren and got him for £1m and £4m over 24months (H)
