Johnny Heitinga, so how good is he, im considering replacing gary neville (im at man utd) and i scouted Heitinga, Eric Harrison said he was impressed with him after viewing him at a match, so how good do you guys rate him?

I would say hes pretty good before I started my Liverpool game I started with Ajax to get used to the game I think he was on an avg rating of the high 7s for me. I'm probably gonna get him aswell to replace Hyypia in my game.

Heitinga is very much underrated as do much players of the Ajax squad :(

I don't know, Sneijder always turns World Class after a season for me.

Well ive taken Van der Vaart and Heitinga off of Ajax's hands, and both seem good buys, both got average ratings of over 8, so good purchases there.

I wouldn't say they're underrated for a midfielder Sneijder is a goal machine and so far as players i've had on my team are concerned van der Vaart is one of the best players in the game imo, when I was Ajax a majority of the squad had ratings above 7.5 but thats just me. :p

Maybe Rafael is good(gets 9's & 10's for me all the time) but the rest is dip **** seeing the stats: Heitinga, De Jong, Maxwell. I even leave Heitinga en De Jong out of my first eleven.

I know this is a very old thread, but I got around to starting a game with Ajax and have found that the team is very solid. Up until now, Ajax has been my feeder team, no matter what club I manage. Sneijder and Van Der Vaart are a no brainer. De Jong can play any place in defense and play it well. Heitinga is amazing on the right, but can also switch over to the center. Maxwell has also been good as a backup as a DL and AML.

Plus they have 6 or 7 excellent prospects in their youths :(
