View Full Version : Just obtained J League Winning Eleven 8 Asia Championship.....
Sime0n 19-11-2004, 07:02:AM Well got this game cause I have to get every game konami release in this series, and it is slightly better than pes 4 on ps2 and pc.
There all very slight things that make it better, I noticed the passing and general play is a little bit slicker, especially the through balls and the shooting.
No slowdown :D which people will be glad to here, the gameplay seems a little bit slower than pes 4 but its a really good pace.
Though not a great difference you would have to play it to see what I mean, its the feel of the game.
I recorded a quick vid, sadly Its in black and white because my tv capture card doesn't seem to like the ntsc signals for some reason, never happened before :)
Don't know if i'll play it for ages will probably go back to pes 4 because I don't know any of the japanese teams I'm playing with, unless someone makes a patch of course ;)
I picked two random sides, I don't think the video will show much as such but thought it would be better than nothing, will try and get something colour up quite soon.

People on Evo-Web are already working on a translation patch. The team patch should come a bit after that too. :D

thx man. you helped me see the light. i threw my ps2 and all of my WE games away. now i can't play no more. i'm stuck with a shltty pes4 demo... you saved my life man. i owe you one.

PC have Online, and PS2 have the gameplay... we would never end up this discussion!
So everyone enjoy that version... you're lucky ones, but we as PC owners have the Online and superb graphics :P

yah the slow responsiveness of the game on pc is awesome...nice ps2 port....so is the inability to use the beautful "true" nike aerow mdl......the online feature is the best tho......no servers..direct connect....1.5mbps recomended.....so if anyone involved is slow..far away ...bad routing.....youll have a nice stuttering game since konami is too cheap to supply a fast network for the gamers to play on....but the game looks good!...sorry..when i play online i will with xbl and pes4(fast servers worldwide,stat tracking,mic)...and when i want to play a REAL paced footie game that isnt pick up and play easy like pes4.....ill play we8jl........but u must remember..WE can play both...YOU can go play your pc.....
