Sounds good, hope it is actually different from Fifa or else EA will again just be grabbing our money instead of putting a CL in fifa.

Why can't EA make one really good game instead of making two ok games, and why not CL in FIFA? money... :(

I hope they put in all stadiums for the teams that are in CL this year, then Lerkendal will be there. And maybe I'll consider buying it then. :$

Every year they have seperate games. What they need to do is put FIFA with World Cup (and Qualification) and the Champions League and Uefa Cup with licenses.

Yeah but knowing EA they probably won't. They will probably have all of the stadia of the major clubs in the game.

It is most likely that some of these stadiums will be included:

Ajax (ArenA)
Arsenal (Highbury)
Barcelona (Nou Camp)
Bayern (Allianz Arena)
Celtic (Celtic Park)
Chelsea (Stamford Bridge)
Deportivo (Riazor)
Internazionale (Giuseppe Meazza San Siro)
Juventus (Delle Alpi)
Leverkusen (BayArena)
Liverpool (Anfield)
Man. United (Old Trafford)
Milan (Giuseppe Meazza San Siro)
Porto (Estádio do Dragăo)
Real Madrid (Bernabeu)
Roma (Olimpico)
Valencia (Mestalla)

But that is an estimate. They will probably also include the stadium where the final will be held (Istanbul).

I read on another forum that EA were thinking of adding Lerkendal (Rosenborg's stadium) in FIFA. I hope this is true, but I really doubt it.
But when they make a Champions League game, they should try to make it as realistic as possible, which also means they should add all the stadiums for the competing teams. But as you say they probably won't. :(

EDIT: Here is pictures of the covers for the other consoles:

Hopefully they will include the teams from eastern europe and some other leagues that are in the competition....otherwise what makes it different from creating the tournament in fifa 2005.....not much.....

They should, since Rosenborg have made it into the Champions League almost every year in the last ten years. Despite only getting past the group stage once, they have beaten teams such as Milan, Real Madrid, Porto and Dortmund.

I remember the good old days in CL, when we beat Milan in Milano and went through to quarter-finals, that was a big day for Norwegian football. :p
But the last years we have been really bad :(

are there licenses for nike???

PhiLLer
20-11-2004, 04:39:PM
Should be. EA still has all the FIFA and club licenses, they just never had the UEFA license.

What I'm expecting is Fifa 2005 in a different box, wahooo. Typical!

they'll most lickelt have scenario's
ie. down 1-0 with 10 men and 5mins to go with **** and you have to win or equalise or whatever to pass the scenario. they should also include classic scenario's, one that springs to mind is being is one with the bayern-man utd final

hahaha...I see more EA haters.

Err...EA can make into this game with its more famous 'franchise' FIFA over many years already. I bet it will have the same gameplay in FIFA 2005. Only menu are differents, official UEFA CL logo, etc...

I'm gonna have to put that through babblefish before I can reply, although it probably will find a problem translating it.
