View Full Version : Your Favourite Comedy Movies? Larry 23-11-2004, 12:57:AM Name your top 3 comedy movies :) Sir Calumn 23-11-2004, 01:17:AM My top 3 would probably be all Python films, I just find them so far above the other comedies in wit, satire and general funniness, but only allowing one Python film, this would be my top three: 1. Monty Python's Life of Brian (Terry Jones) 2. The Big Lebowski (The Coen Brothers) 3. M*A*S*H (Robert Altman) The Big Lebowski is a really surreal, funny and awesome film, the only decent stoner comedy I've ever seen, with some awesome originality and some really crazy ideas. M*A*S*H was also a brilliant idea, with some hillarious moments and superb actors, not to mention inspiring one of the funniest American TV series' of all time. manutd4eva 23-11-2004, 01:35:AM 1. O Bother Where Art Thou? 2. Meet The Parents 3. Ace Ventura: Pet Detective Tom 23-11-2004, 02:33:AM cant believe you put Life of Brian in there but not Quest for the Holy Grail calumn 1. Monty Python and the Holy Grail 2. Monty Python and the Life of Brian 3. Mrs Doubtfire - robin williams is hilarious TROD. Sir Calumn 23-11-2004, 02:42:AM Originally posted by TROD cant believe you put Life of Brian in there but not Quest for the Holy Grail calumn 1. Monty Python and the Holy Grail 2. Monty Python and the Life of Brian 3. Mrs Doubtfire - robin williams is hilarious TROD. As I said, in reality it would probably be all Python films but I wanted to get some variety and I just marginally prefer Life of Brian to The Holy Grail because of the satirical element, damn close though. rony31 23-11-2004, 02:44:AM 1. Dumb & Dumber 2. Old School 3. Billy Madison Tom 23-11-2004, 03:00:AM i can never like dumb and dumber for the fact it sporned so many crap films after it trying to copy it. TROD. Peter Falk is the most annoying actor of all time, and his role in this movie ruined it. I didnt like Jon Favreau's acting in this either. Swingers is far better than this, the only thing similar is the actors. Voltaic Borusse 06-01-2005, 02:44:PM Originally posted by HalfLife 2- Supertroopers I'm thinking of watching that.
