View Full Version : Sound lag problems
As I only have the demo at the minute, this will take someone with the full game to try!
I remember having this sound sync problem with PES3 and when I altered the sound setting from stereo to mono, it reduced it by a long way, I was wondering for those with the full game should try it and see if it makes a difference.
As the sound throughput is reduced by half, it should help with game speed too!
Just a thought, so let me know
Cheers
Nack

Jeej! 07-12-2004, 02:00:AM I have this problem too :(. Anyone knows the answer to our problem?
Golaso 08-12-2004, 04:47:AM I hope Konami knows about this bug and they are working on fixing it because i just can't stand this out of synch sound. :(
MasterM 09-12-2004, 08:37:PM I also have out of sync sound. I think it has to to with cpu load of something. I had severe sound lag when i had my virusscan installed and other programs running. Though i uninstalled my virusscan and closed other porgrams while playing pes, now the sound lag is minor, but it still there at times.
My pc goes over the recommended requirements, but still theres sound lag, so i think the game isnt optimized for pc use. They did a bad port like last year

Its fu.cking crap Konami...do u hear me Konami...FIX IT!!!!!
Golaso 10-12-2004, 11:31:AM I too think it has something to do with CPU load rather than sound card.
But there is one thing i find rather strange..I have noticed that this sound delay sometimes happens even in change formations screen under change player setting when you scroll through the players list.
WTF is this? It doesn't look cpu sensitive at all.. it's just a 2D screen and a simple up/down scrolling operation with a little sound being played for every player's name.
Konami, :kader:
matthewfever 18-04-2005, 11:40:PM Noone Solved It, I Dint Have It, Then I Reset My Motherboard And Now I Get It. God Damn
Derseu 08-07-2005, 03:49:AM So, we're buying game for PC or PC for the game? Obviously WE/PES brilliant games, but... Good Lord! You've to get that sound card, this video card, memory up, that sh...t down, turn off this, turn on that, don't mess with that, change this... and over and over again! I think PC manufacturers must realy appreciate Konami work :)! Is there some another way to avoid those samurai-kamikadze feelings, like to order special PC directly from Japan or improve the game itself till "homo sapiens" level...? I wish, someone will do serious modifications, at least for American release. Banzai...
MasterM 08-07-2005, 04:04:PM I have now upgraded my cpu to an athlon64 3000+ and the sound lag is pretty much gone. Still at occasions is hear it, but its not annoying anymore.
Conclusion: You need a big ass processor to get rid of the sound lag.
matthewfever 24-07-2005, 08:49:AM i have a p4 2.8ghz hyper threader and the sound still lags
