Right ive had this weird stuttering on my PE4. It happens when im about to kick off and when there is a bit of action near the boxes and goalmouths. It happened on demo but was fixed when i enabled v-sync. Sadly this dosent work with the full version. Any suggestions anyone or is anybody else experiencing this also?

I have AA and AF off, got the latest drivers for my fx5900xt (although tried old drivers too) and have my pc pretty much up to date. HL2 runs sweet as a nut on this machine. Im beginning to think this might be sound related or maybe just a bug in the game.

Have you tried adjusting sound acceleration?

yep i have, from full accel to none. sorry should have stuck that down too hehe

bump, but its pes5, it almost goes in slow motion, radeon x800
