I'm confused! So many people in Canada and America seem to have PES 4 or WE 8 already...though as far as I can tell, it hasn't been released yet...where are you people getting it? I'm looking for the PC version... :confused:

European console versions won't work here but PC versions are identical to ours,

Which do you feel is the better of the two,WE or PES?

Well they're basically the same game but usually the lastest version released is the best because they have fixed more bugs.

Why would you want PES4, WE8 will be exactly the same....wont it?

It may be the same or better, but it'll take a couple extra months to arrive.

I was lucky enough to see Canada play France in the Francaphonie games in Ottawa. It was an awesome game...we lost in penalty kicks! :(

it's basically the same except for one difference.
PES comes out way before WE. So, naturally, you'll want to get PES :)

I'm pretty sure it's like this (feel free to correct me if i'm wrong):
WE = North America\Japanese version
PES = Euro version

Winning Eleven comes out first in Japan, then PES comes out in Europe (because it's a bigger market) then, lastly, WE comes out in NA.

for whatever reason, they just can't call it Winning Eleven in Europe. But it's the same game.

Yet from what I've heard, the north american version of WE has before/probably will again include some bug fixes and the like. Nothing worth waiting a month or two for, of course. ;)
