Hi,

Nice forum and this is my first post,

I am experiencing online issues - I am using a Netgear DG834 router - I have portforwarded correctly , I have even changed the default game port - I have also allowed an exception through Windows firewall for the correct port and I have even tried turning it off.

I am trying to connect to a firend of mine who is using an ADSL modem - I can join his game when he hosts - we get to the choose team screen then the connection drops.

I cant even host a game as he cant join, it just stays as waiting ?!?!

I have read through this forum quite thouroughly but nothing has worked so far.

Is any one else expeirincing the same problems - is there a fix ?

Any ideas are welcomed !!

Cheers

if you have Zone Alarm (=firewall) uninstall it (and install anything else), ..seems not to be compatible with direct ip games.

Thanks for the pointer but i dont have Zone Alarm - I use Windows Firewall and my Netger DG 834 has one - both have been port forwarded correctly.
