i don't think there will be career mode in fifa 06 unless they release 2 fifa 06's 1 of the world cup and the second one as the normal fifa otherwise i jus' want it enhanced....btw u all won't get it so realistic like tickets cuz then their tcm series will run out of bussiness

They always make 2 seperate games for normal FIFA and World Cup, it part of their money making plan, i think they just need to improve on the existing career mode.

True they got to make it more Relistic what will really happen in real life MANAGER.:)

It's pretty good how it is. The World Cup game will be a different release, and won't be included with FIFA 2006. I am pretty sure of that.

what ever happened to club championship that was good, i reckon it would make a great alternative for those who don't have time to play a whole 30 seasons so instead just have a straight out, full on competition featuring the world's biggest sides

Completely different . It should have features such as negotiate to transfer player by pounds .A salary should be fixed by the club.
Only bids and free agent transfers are carried out by points .The ability to trade player should be included.

The transfer market should have a search engine which searches according to age, value , attributes ,nationality,race,height . It should display the form and goals scored by the playerand a bit of his bio and cups won.

Ability to train players in a certain attributewith points should be included.And team normal and extra training for difficult matches with points should be retained.

Next years career mode shuld retain most of the features. But be longer and in upgrades shoud include important people such as groundstaff,players chef and security.More balls ,3rd kits should be included in the store.

i want it to be similar to the one in 05, except with the option to manage a division 1 team right from the start if you want... but still implement the mode where you have to start from the bottom, and work up, as i think its a good mode.

we should also be able to schedule a pre-season...

and also the contracts would be a cool new addition

i hope the'll put the Top scorer back
also ... there is many popups in the game which are missing
like man of the match ... the shooting on goals

maybe adding some other stuff in the career like the manager of the month

1. show the top scorer
2. transactions that would happen in real life like: Joaquin to Madrid :)
3. travel to different countries...South America, North America to play friendlies
4. more managers to choose from....or make your own
5. be able to change your manager's name....i want my manager to have my name instead of just writing in Carlos Bianchi....stupid mistake:(
6. be able to see practices....just like a 30 second video or something...(only if you want to see the practice...or it will delay time)....i would want to see it every month(H)
7. more money $$$$....like Madrid:mrpimp:

You never know with ea, something good from previous year maybe aren´t there the year after, thats what i hate with theam they can´t make up there minds. :kader:

you know ... you remembered me with something ... in 1998 before each game ... they showed us a vedio about the stadium that the game will be played in ... that was something cool ... hope the'll put this back again

True your rite Damn THEY GOT TO TAKJE THERE TIME WHEN MAKING THE GAME I THINK THERE NOT TAKING TO MUCH iNTERST nOW THESE DAY'S i think they should put there heads down and work something out.;) :)

This year's career mode is pretty decent. I'd like to see more of an ownership angle to it though, not just managerial. Also, there should be more injuries. I haven't had one yet!

The interface could be a bit better. I think they should hook up with World Soccer magazine, and have them in the game as a sort of news service, and keep you updated on other leagues besides the one you're playing in.

But more of an owner mode would be nice, and a stadium editor would be really sweet, but mostly wishful thinking. Basically I'd like to see the owner mode from Madden implemented in this game. And they should make contract negotiations tougher.

i lie the idea of us picking friendlies to play when there r no games or b4 a season we get to pick friendlies

Promotion Relegation matches would be nice...I'm not sure if they are included in 2005 bc I didn't buy the game. I'm still playing WE7 and awaiting WE8

fifa needs a Dynasty career like in the football and NHL 2005 games. Where you manage everything.

Here's my thoughts on the Fifa 2006 career mode, and what it should be:

- Plain and simple make it like Madden 2005. Why you ask here goes.

- Make the career mode longer than 15yrs, maybe like 25-30yrs

- Have the owner mode, you control the prices of everything. Merchandise, Seating/ tickets, Parking, Food, etc..

- You should be able to use that money for Players, coaching/medical staff, Advertising, stadium upgrades, maintaining the stadium so if you see your pitch getting torn up and brown you could fix it so for the next home game the ptich is green and all fixed up. General cleaning, fixing seats etc..

- Make trading players much easier like in madden.

- Having the newspaper option for each league, such as a league newspaper and worldwide football paper from around europe or around the world. Also being able to see other newspapers and scores/results from diffrent leagues around the world.

- Being able to train your players in the offseason like in madden so there skills get developed and being able to see how your players develope every few weeks like in madden.

- Being able to train during the season aswell.

- Chooseing friendly matches with teams from your league and other leagues.

- Get the licensing for the TV stations for each league so each league would be authentic (sp) and realistic as possible.

- I liked the EA Sports radio in Madden 2005 maybe that could be somehow worked into the Fifa franchise mode aswell, being able to here about whats going on in the league your in and possibly some news on other leagues, Like which trades were made that week in your league, and between your league and others, results of the top games in your league and in other leagues, injured players, etc...

- Pick your own captian from game to game.

- During the game show results of other games form your league at that time.

- Here's a shot why not have the option to run a fantasy league during your career mode, just an extra sometihng to make career mode fun.

- Having weekly and yearly awards, weekly should be like top player or top two players of the week, and at the end of the seaon have like Best player (MVP), best Coach, best goalkeeper, best forwards, etc..

- Have the commentators talk more about whats going on in the league like, oh this players has been amazing since hes been traded/signed by such and such team in whatever month or year.
Or be like such and such team is so great no wonder why there in the top 5 or top 3 or even the number one team in the league. etc.. Or have them be like the defending champions (team name here) are really showing them whos the best or why they are the defending champions.

- A trophy room would be amazing, like if you won your leagues championship 3 years in a row each one would show the year you won the team you beat and the score. This would also work if you also won the Champions League, or the UEFA Cup etc..

Well plain and simple follow Maddens footsteps, since madden is the top game here in the US and they get all the awesome modes and option I think they should bring all that into the Fifa franchise with load more options for 2006 and make fifa the TOP simulator in football/soccer games worldwide. EA must realize Football is all over the world and to me thats where they should focus alot on with the career mode, create a team (club), create a player, create a tournament etc.. Make Fifa 2006's career mode somthing we've never seen before and something that will totally blow our minds away!

trust me, it will never be like the madden series. i have madden 2000 and 2004. 2004 madden owner mode is way better than FIFA 2005 career, u dont have to go to 2005.

We should be able to put players on the transfer list, and have them request or reject ransfers.

I recon it would be good to copy from Madden 2005.

The career mode could be like this :


There could be a place called NEWS CENTRAL where theres EMAIL, A NATIONAL NEWSPAPER FOR THE LEAGUE and RADIO

EMAIL would show the teams news and whats important around the team

NEWSPAPER could be a 5 page LEAGUE NEWSPAPER showing all the rumours and news of the league u chose

RADIO. John Motson could make a radio show instead of commentating and on RADIO he could give fans the question of the day, his thoughts on football, an interview with a famous player, coach, manager and the latest news in the league

I've lloked at some of your requests, and the best way to solve them to buy TCM it has most of your requests in it already.

But, we shouldn't have to buy two games.

- new retirement system. Instead of making up names from existing players, put real juniors in the game. And another thing: if (for example) Figo will retire, Real won't replace him with a junior. They'll try Joaquín or another quality player instead. Have the CPU look for suitable replacements in the transfer market.

I agree, but EA is all about making money.

1- Allow us to manage the jersey numbers of the club we're managing.

2- Allowing us to make pre-season friendlies, against other clubs or even against national teams.

3- Getting call ups for players from their national team, and we should be able to choose if we accept or not. Think of Ranieri.;)

4- Including a practice mode inside career mode would be nice, so we can practice with our actual teams. Players getting injured in the training.

5- Using money, no idea € or US$, and no points for the transfers. Leave the staff with points i guess.

6- If a player retires don't replacing it immediatly with a rookie, we should be able to call rookies whenever we want.

I find it the career mode in FIFA 2005 is so addictive. I love it. EA should enhance this mode. :)

I know I am probably the only one in this forum who doesn’t care. I played career and to me it is boring. Who has the time to play a million games (you guys apparently)? I just don’t have the patience for it I guess. Or is it that you guys simulate a lot of the games in your season?
