hey dosen't anyone feel that dvd's shud be used instead of the bugging 2 cd's??? i feel yes

i feel no, i havent a dvd rom

why no??? ea will have to change over to dvd's when the yrs. pass by as they will have to make a bigger database and they can't jus' keep makin' it on cd's otherwise later they'll have tcm 05 consisting of 4cd's or more where they can be easily fit into 1

well, FM2005 has a huge database and the game is only 1 cd

if EA brings a DVD then i expect huge improvements and it would be great if we get FIFA and TCM combined. people who luv to play onl the game can select FIFA style while people like me can go for full management style.

ya that's what....with dvd's they can also look to beat fm and cm and all the others

If it were to be on a DVD they'd need a lot more features to fill it up.

DVD = 4gb
2xCD = 1.4gb (assume 700mb CD's)

Maybe when the game gets to 4x+ CD's they'll release 2 versions, like they did with the Sims 2. CD's are dirt cheap now and computer owners are more likely to own a CD than DVD, so I guess they'll stick to CD for a while longer.

ya but if they do that then the quantity and quality will not increase

they should put the editor on the DVD version, instead of us downloading it wot does any 1 think?

i dont see the problem. you only need to have the one disc in when you are playing, the other you only use when you're installing the game. if they switch to DVD they coud loose sales, i dont have a dvd drive and im sure as hell not gonna buy one for a sh!te game like TCM.

Well I read somewhere that it costs 1/3rd as much to produce a cd than a dvd

The current database folder is just under 22 MB which accounts for only 3.1% of a 700 MB disc. It's the audio, kits, stadiums, etc. that take up so much space.

I do agree with whoever said that they should put it on DVD and package FIFA and TCM all in one. Imagine fusion actually working right and not having to switch discs every time. I don't even play fusion because it's too much of a pain in the a$$.
