View Full Version : Argentinian League
::..Federico Debla..:: 01-12-2004, 10:41:PM Before it's too late, I would like to say that the Argentinian league in FIFA 2006 is already a MUST.
Almost every good player in Europe comes from South America, not only from Brazil (which league's already in the game), but also from Argentina, I can name a few just to start off: Aimar, D'Alessandro, Saviola, Riquelme.... those are just a small part, and young players, but I could name some older ones which ya'll are well aware of like Crespo, Veron, Kily Gonzalez, Zanetti, etc.
Right now there are a lot of great players playing here in this country, such as Tevez, Maxi Lopez, Lucho Gonzalez, etc... players that will be playing in Europe in a blink of an eye, so...
I know that the main reason why EA haven't made this league previously was the Licensing and because the AFA asked for a lot of money or something like that... but hey, it's worth it!
EA have already made the Brazilian and Mexican league.... but... are they as good as the Argentinian one? if you take a look at the South American competitions such as the South American League, Libertadores, etc... there's almost every time an Argentinian team in the final, not to say there's an Argentinian team as winner every year..
So why do those leagues get to be in the game and the Argentinian one doesn't?
I think the kits, faces and rosters aren't really the big problem, because the community would SURE help out with that. Me myself would be willing to make kits, and help out with the rosters, but I don't think this is the real problem.
Think about it.
Dante_1901 02-12-2004, 01:33:AM I'm agree with you my man :rockman:
But let me give u a reason why MLS and Mexican League are in FIFA, and Argentinian League not:
- ARGENTINIAN LEAGUE in my humble opinion is MUCH BETTER than Mexican League, and MLS.
- MLS and Mexican League dont have the level of ARGENTINIAN LEAGUE.
- Any Southamerican League has more level than MLS.
- Mexican League its good, but no so good as Argentinian League and Brazilian League.
And all u people are wondering ... WTF, WHY ARGENTINAN LEAGUE ISNT INCLUDED IN FIFA?
Here is the answer:
http://img9.exs.cx/img9/8421/money7.jpg
... People in USA buy FIFA 2005 because it has the MLS. Latin People in USA buy FIFA 2005 because it has Mexican League in it (most latin people in USA are Mexican)
They have much more money than here, South America is not a topic for them, we just dont make interest for them, WE DONT MAKE MONEY FOR THEM. ................. :(
ronnifan9 02-12-2004, 02:38:AM hell yeah....i want to play soo bad with teams like Independiente, Racing, and Newell's Old Boys...Lisandro Lopez:rockman:
yeah they should include the argentinian league and include the whole brazilian league, not just 16 teams with 2 of team being in the second division
also i think they should include more south american teams in the rest of the world section
El Diablo Rojo 02-12-2004, 06:18:AM If they get to add things like the K-League or the MLS, the Argentinian league and the Brazilian league complete is a must. And in my opinion they should make a Rest of Europe and Rest of America section.
ronnifan9 03-12-2004, 03:07:AM ....so pretty much include: Argentine league, Colombian league, Uruguayan league, & maybe some other teams: Colo-Colo, Universidad, Catolica...and some teams from Peru....right???
Dante_1901 03-12-2004, 04:31:AM Right ronnifan !!!
Cienciano would be great ... as you know Cienciano is the Copa Nissan Sudamericana 2003 Champion :D :rockman:
eladhagever 03-12-2004, 04:17:PM I'm with you Fede :)
VAMO BOCA CARAJO!! :)
cariverplate_1 06-12-2004, 07:30:AM why bother with the mls.....10 teams:rolleyes:
mexican league is just waste..........
argentinian AFA league=GREATEST REQUEST FOR FIFA:rockman:
yoyo913 06-12-2004, 08:35:AM Argentinian league can lick my Boca River testicles

Which testicles? The ones you are lack of? or the ones the doctor took out from you when you were born because he knew you would never use 'em 'cause you were already gay the second after you came out... ?
I just need to clear things up, you got me confused here.
SuRFy 07-12-2004, 02:32:PM i hear argentinans dont like LADIES
jefferson goh 07-12-2004, 09:48:PM Argentinian league could kill pes!
Brett 09-12-2004, 05:02:AM I am reluctant to even consider the idea that EA Canada (AKA we don’t give a #%@&* about S. American Soccer) will ever listen to us and include the Argentinean League. After all, if they included the Argentinean League they would have to show the unbelievable emotion displayed in Argentinean fields. EA can’t handle that!!! Imagine, having to show real freaking emotion and wild crowd cinematics... trust me guys it won’t happen!!!!!!
I really hope my pessimistic tone gets proven wrong. Argentina is a cradle of soccer talent to the WORLD (what is it about that sentence that you guys at EA don’t get?).
:f***:

i`ve heard aussies are still mad because of Uruguay disqualifing them in 2001....
oh and that they dont like ladies too...:o
LucianoJJ 09-12-2004, 09:49:PM IF EA won't add the whole league just add N.O.B., Independiente and others to the Rest of the World. Finally include Boca's stadium! Hopefully they won't dump Boca and River since both teams didn't do so good the last tournament.
Respect Argentina! Look how many good players start there! Just ask Max Bredos and Christian Bozzo!

You got it wrong dude, we don't like ladies from Australia, cause they're all ugly...
Now... let's see... hmmm I know lots of hot women, a lot from South America, some from Russia, USA, Canada, Italy, Spain... but from Australia?.... SH!T.... there aren't any ladies! Oh right! that's why you're a fúcking f*aggot....
Here's 5 dollars, go do something good for your country, buy 'em a couple of good football players, will ya? or even better, I'll give ya some more money so you can buy a whole new league, because yours SUCK.
charly_dagos 30-12-2004, 10:39:AM I agree that there should be more south american teams and leages, Argentinian and Turkish league is the most requested, not the Mexican or Korean league (which isn't that good). I think that EA should have saved their money and get licenses to Argentinian and Turkish leage.
Americanizta 03-01-2005, 08:40:AM I hope the the Mexican League is not included again on FIFA, EA should put the Argentinian League instead, :rockman: ... because with Mexican League in FIFA, we, the Mexican editors, can't do anymore patches and the edition gets boring for us :p, so I don't want the Mexican League in the next FIFA 2006. (H)
cariverplate_1 07-01-2005, 08:25:AM no offense but i feel that the argentine league is the strongest in north and south america....look at their teams...through the years they have had brilliant teams even though they dont have the biggest amount of money in the league...they have excitement and nice exciting plays and goals....not just boca and river....
yes and even better than the brazilian league.....not the national but yes the league...for sure.
whats the point of the mexican league if the highest team is PUMAS...they are the biggest fluke i've ever seen!
why's sanchez on the cover if he doesnt have a real face????
mexican league has many argies...except the true skill is at home..therefore its best to have tha AFA league
RonaldinhoBR10 07-01-2005, 10:00:AM idont think the turkish league should come b4 the argentinian
cuz they already have too many european leagues
they should make the PROPER brazilian and real argentinian
why dont they take out the 3rd division form england
they have like 5555555 leagues from england i get all pissed off and then i see ppl saying they need all scotrtish and english leagues.....COMMON give me a break
wuts good about the second division of scotland????????
nothing.
so add the south american leagues and turkish and that will be good
(H)
Speaking about Argentinian League, I kinda don`t understand the format. It`s divided into two parts, Clausura and Apertura. Each of them is like one half of the full season, so in one full season, you will have two champions. One for the Apertura and one for the Clausura. What I don`t get is that I never know wheter the two teams ( if different teams win the Apertura or the Clausura ) will meet in some sort of a play-off final to determine the real one full season champ, or you just have two reigning champs in one full season. And if you have two champions, who will be determined to represent Argentina in Libertadores ? Note, that here, it`s very difficult to find infos about SA leagues, so sorry if my question sounds stupid . . .
cariverplate_1 07-01-2005, 11:59:PM they are two different championships......
clasura is the first one...then apertura
then in summer they have a "summer tournament"
the top 2 teams of both seasons.
clasura 2004=river plate
apertura 2004=newell's o.b. de rosario
i'll give some more info later because its complicated even for another argentine...considering that i'm in the U.S. the only way i know is through direct tv TyC sports...computer...and family.
i can see why EA dont yet have the league....the have a billion fricken teams from like 7 leagues...good teams though.
and its complicated.
Nacional B is pretty good too..they're second division.
TRUE FACT: doesnt s/america have more intercontinental cups then europe:hump: ......no offense:D
and argentina is one of the leaders with them with reigning second place uruguay then 3rd brazil.
Mexico btw dont have any international cups,no wc,no libertadores,no copa america...but still they say they are great and have the best league...pumas is a fluke and they know it...just like they beat us with a free kick and then played like pus*ies trying to defend...fu*kers got lucky...in wont happen for another 20 years....that btw was the first time they beat us in 18 years=BIG @SS FLUKE!
VAMOS ARGENTINA CARAJO!
btw nice avatar :hump: :hump: :hump:

cariverplate_1 08-01-2005, 12:43:AM the Libertadores is a special tournament for south america's best clubs,atleast 4 teams from each country,argentina brings 5 I thing,so does brazil.
Mexico on the other hand have a tournament for themselfs to figure out what team represents mexico, this tourney is called the "inter liga" they have two champions, its split up into two seperate tournies in one,the two champs earn a place in the libertadores.
The winner of the libertadores goes on to face the Uefa Champions League winners in a Champion vS Champion Match called the Intercontinental cup.

cariverplate_1 08-01-2005, 01:03:AM the too low teams that have been doing bad in the first division get point taken off of their promosion to stay in first division, they play the two top teams in the nacional b to see who stays and who goes.
Great idea for FIFA 2006. By the way you made a mistake River Plate only have 2 Libertadores and only one Intercontinental.
cariverplate_1 08-01-2005, 01:17:AM nacional b is two leagues in one,one is called nacional B them the other is called Primera B,

El Diablo Rojo 08-01-2005, 12:32:PM Remember in the third division it splits into B Metropolitan(or just B) and Argentinian tournament A. I think it'd be good enough if they add 2 divisions, however if they do that with Argentina they should do the same with Brazil. Considering they feature the brazilian league incomplete already.
