hey what are you guys using for this game 512 or 1 gig
I have a ati 9700 128mb with 512 ram and it works good at 1024 726 at medium settings
when I set it ti high it gets a little choppy- do you think upgrading to 1 gig will help with getting some smoothness at the high setting

I got it working smoothly at 1024x768 on high details with my radeon 7500 card. 2.6GHz, 512 RAM. Strangely enough I had to tun vsync OFF before it got rid of the 'choppiness'.

Thats becos of the way vsync works, if your pc is not reaching the same fps your refresh rate is at it has to half ur fps i.e if u are on 60hz and your pc is not powerful enough to reach that mark on the game u are running then your framerate will half itself and be put to 30 fps and then 15 fps etc rather then going down in 1'fps marks.
Where as vsync off will just knock of fps in 1's i.e 50, 59, 58, 57 fps etc.

I have a rig of AMD 1600+, ATi9500 and 256MB ram, and game runs perfectly at 1024x768 and at high with AA at 4X and AF 16x.

I finally understand now...I just checked my desktop refresh rate and it was at 60 Hz so by turning vsync off, it knocked the value off to 59 which as I read somewhere on this forum gives the 'correct' speed of the game as it is with the ps2.
That was a stroke of luck as my refresh rate is usually set higher; but it had been automatically reset to 60 after my new drivers installation and made the task of finding the best config for the game much easier.
Luv ya PES4.

Wow!
I've got AMD 2500+, Sapphire Radeon 9500 128MB, 1GB RAM and on 1024x768 (high) it runs very choppy!
