I think Batitstuta is good however he is not in the class of the English captain Alan Shearer and Arsenals, Kanu and Bergkamp. Also Man utd david beckham.

Soccer does NOT begin and end in the U.K. Yes, English soccer is great, but its not the best, and its players certainly are NOT. Batistuta is one of the greates players of all time,he is better than most Eurpean players and certainly better than English players. I belive the best European players come from Italy. I'm talking about an average here, I'm not saying good Eurpean players come ONLY from Italy, because god knows that Spain, Germany, England ect... have GREAT players. The best players from England I think are Beckham, and Owen. Those are the only two that can be compared to others on an international level. The others are good, but only within the English league, on an international level they are only average or O.K. Besides, I think the best players in the world are Rivaldo, Ronaldo, Dida, and Ronaldinho Gaucho. Ronaldo still has alot to show,and Ronaldinho Gaucho is still young but already a super star. Those who watched the FIFA cup and Copa America should know that.
