For me it has to be the goalkeepers. There are many faults in them this year. Don't understand why the problem is just in the PC version. I have not played the PS2 version but WE8 is fine.

Overall PES4 is still a great game.

I'm disappointed at the scoreboard feature. I hoped for a more "TV style" scoreboard, like team names being displayed instead of flags and the home team remains the first name on the scoreboard and doesn't switch around at half-time. That's the only thing I can think of, because I think PES4 is amazing and has lived up to my expectations.

It has been like this in all the ISS and PES games. Another thing is the home team always kick off from left to right in the first half. I can remember in the old ISS on SNES you could choose which side you want to play or to kick off first.

As for features it only has one postive and that is the Master League. The rest of the game is worse than WE7I. It's only the addon's keeping me playing the game.

I don't know if it is just me or what, I find the game speed 2 fast 2 furous..The last game I played was WE7 and it was much slower and the physic of ball is much better than PES4 too..

1) too unresponsive controls, especially when dribbling (too much delay)
2) too fast and arcade gameplay, no possibility of buildup play whatsoever, only counterattacking
3) worst graphics than in previous games
4) stupid behaviour by AI controlled defenders sometimes
and some minor flaws like:
5) standing goalies
6) outside of foot passes

It gets on me wick, how the last man defending who denies me a clear goalscoring opportunity many a time through cynical challenges hardly ever gets sent off. I'm playing 6* and with speed demons such as Baros and Cisse in my strikeforce, I'm bound to capitalize on speed in my attacks. They always only get a yellow or worse still, a verbal warning.

And the same happens with my defenders hauling down the opposition who are clearly through on goal.

I like the game I think it is a big improvement over PES3 - I foudn PES3 quite jerky and slow at times.

The thing that bugs me is the **** code for online play - this game has given me serious grief for playing on line unlike any other game I could mention namley:-

MOHAA
HL2
CSS

The fuc.king bouncing balls that r headed in random directions!!!

Keepers arent that bad!

to many shots with the wrong leg and with the outside of the boots, gk is worst then in pes3, 90% of the shoots from outside the box goalie don't even bother dive he just look at the ball wfk
i found pes4 more predictable then pes3, in pes3 i never had 2 games the same wich in pes4 most of the times i score gools one on one, cearl shot from outside the box or penallty.
the replay is worst then in prew pes, now i don't even want to save the best goals just because the low camera.
pes4 has been improve from last year with more teams, license and stadioms, ref and many more but i don't understand why they have to take the good things away? like the stripe shirts camera wiev, replay, hairstyle in edit mode( for example we could use pires hair to any player we want in pes3) and i am missing the volley or first time wolley from pes3, that was the beauty of the game, whitch in pes4 u bearly see it. pes4 overall its prabaly better game but not better gameplay, at list for me

Overall gameplay is a bit better...but the bouncing balls, the cpu superdriblers and supertacklers fuc.king annoys me!

konami ruined the gameplay this time. mix pes3s gameplay and other features from pes4 (online-play, all the new team etc...) and we would have a perfect footie game.

I think that we could wait 2 years for perfect game . the year in the middle there could an upgrade cd .

What pisses me off the most of PES/WE games is the computer never misses a pass and everyplayer seems to mark you like a some#$ab#tch (like My Greek team that won the EURO!).

However these guys are like terminators running around and tackling non-stop...

Isnt there a Fatigue factor?
Cause i know some players hold down Run and Square and X
all the time.... :f***:

No there isn't.

PES commendment number one: CPU players shalt not show signs of fatigue - EVER

Has been like that ever since. will remain like that forever.

Why? nobody knows.

I agree except for point 3...I think the graphics are better than in previous games....

But for me the biggest disappointment is the lack of original supporter chants. In fifa there are a lot of original chants from all the different clubs, but in PES4 when I play with Juventus I can´t hear even one original chant. That´s a disaster:kader:

Ok, the gameplay is still the most important thing, but when I do not hear any original chants the total experience does not get that impressive, because the lack of atmosphere during the matches is quite depressing. When I play at home at Delle Alpi with Juve I expect to have a 12th man supporting me and helping me to play more aggressively, but I can´t feel any difference between playing at home and playing away. My statistics tell it all: I get more or less the same amount of victories, draw and defeats at home as when I play away from home...because I can´t feel the supporters in my home matches...:boohoo: :mad:
