can any 1 tell me where the option for v sync is in the new catalyst ati drive control pnel??

Its not there !!! Downloaded Radlink (fantastic tool) which forces the game to use AA and AF and has the v-sync option .Its an absolute doddle to set-up . Its config settings are linked to the game involved so when youve finished the game you dont mess up your original ati settings.

Im using the radeon ati 9800pro (128mb)
Atholn XP 3.2ghz
1Gb ddr


The radlink (vers 2.025) settings i used are :-
Full scene anti-aliasing 6x
Anisotrpic Filtereing 8x forced
V-sync always on (screen tears after a minute or so`s play if you dont turn this on)

It is there actually - it's just well hidden and not specifically called v-sync (although it is called vertical refresh or something like that). Same thing anyway.

My ATI card works fine. Well it should anyway since it cost $400.(:/)

v-sync option is also present in ati catalist.....go to no preview at 3D....and scroll down...you will find an option "wait for vertical sync" turn it "always on" ....cheers:mrpimp:

I got the X800 pro with catalyst. I had sync and aliasing problems, but they completely went away when I maxed all the settings. The game looks beaaaaautiful!!!:D
