I won the league with Porto. We went on to take the European cup(beat Manchester United 1-0) and league cup(beat Benfica 6-5) aswell.


Porto also trashed Manchester United 7-3 to win the World Club Championship! :-)

We topped the table with 34 wins out of 36 games played and held a respectable 26 point lead at one stage. My golden player, was Jardel!(scored half of Porto's goals)
P:s: I managed Porto for 5 years!(did not have much glory after that first season) I have stopped playing due to my exams. :-(

Do you have an even better record to show?

On second thought, I think I can easily say that I hold one of the best records in the Cm99/00 scene. :-)

Ive done better .I have Lazio(IRL I hate them so dont get me wrong) ,I won every single trophy for 2 season in row .
In 2001 ,I won Serie A,italian cup,italian super cup,European champions league,european super cup,world championship cup,world club cup.In 2002 ,I won again Serie A,italian cup,european champions cup,world championship cup and I have to play Aab for the european super cup wich should be easy,I have to face Fiorentina in the italian super wich should also be easy cause i havent lost against them and i have to play in the world club cup because i won the european champions cup .
I have over 70 million dollars of transfer funds and have players such as Ortega,Barthez,Del Piero,Aimar,Sigporsson,Saviola,Kennedy Barkicioglu(I think thats how its spelled),Nesta,Campbell,Roberto carlos,Mihajlovic,Baronio,Zanchi,Daino,Stankovic,L ongo,Pecchia and after the transfer deadline is lifted ,I will be getting Mads Jorgensen and Marc Overmars .

I'm playing with Juventus, I just started my 4th season. My best was the 2001/02 season. We won, The World Championship, World Club Cup, Champions Cup, Italian Cup, Italian Super Cup, European Super Cup and the Serie A. I have won all the tournaments I've played (In all of my seasons), I recently created a new manager and took over Sevilla 5 games before the end of the Season and keap them from relegation. Admit it my squad Kicks Ass, but for some reson I have trouble beating Genoa and Roma.

My best single season;
Roma:
Serie A Championship, Italian Cup, Italian Super Cup, European Super Cup, European Cup, World Club Championship - and a partridge in a pear tree....

Of course it took me more than 10 years to get to bloody serie A and Roma!

I haven't done better in a single season, but I have won EVERY SINGLE title with Juveterranova Gela until 2009 without any cheating. Well, sometimes I gave computer to simulate games for me, with going on holiday before the game and coming back. But you should know, that not every single player comes to play for me after I had 3 straight UEFA Cups and then 3 straight Champions' Cups, then i won Italian Serie A two times (not in a row), two times I won Italian cup (also, not in a row), World Club Championship (once a winner, once 4th place http://www.soccergaming.com/ubb/smile.gif), European Super Cup winner 4 times, loser 2 times, Italian Super Cup winner one time, loser 2 times. Also, there was Toyota Cup (or World Championship in Tokyo), which I won 3 times in a row. There's probably other toruneys, i just forgot them.

The problem is that i did not have a good straight one season yet, but the plus is that you all played with Porto, Juventus, Roma, and i play with Juveterranova Gela, and Cassano, Pirlo, and other stars do not want to come to play for me, saying that they like it in Milan, Juve, Roma, and others. Although, i did buy Cassano for 30 million pounds, others just didn't want to play for me (Sigtursson, Pirlo, Montano, Ronaldinho, Ronaldo). and the biggest problem is that when those guys changed their clubs, they went to play for Juventus, which got relegated to Serie B twice and came back, Fiorentina, which relegated to Serie B a couple years ago and didn't come back, etc.).

please do not say that winning those trophies with Lazio, juve, Porto was hard. I play without Roberto Carlos and other superstars, and I managed to win everything, maybe not in every seasno, but it's ok.

Would Winning the Spanish league with Sevilla be considered an acomplishment? They haven't had a decent season in my game Last season the where Spanish Cup Runner-Ups but they nerly got relegated, I got there just in time to win and draw the last few games and save them from losing like six players to the relegation clause.

My biggest score-line with Porto was 11-3, against Hjk, in the Champions league group stage. Hjk had 5 players injured.

Do you know how it is easy to promote with Charlton, the best team in English 1st division? And 1 season to promote? He-he, so, who cares.

That isn't an accomplishment, either.

Juveterranova Gela is a worse club than Charlton, and it is one of the worst teams in Serie C2/C. So, it took me one year to stabilize in Serie C2/C, one year to promote to Serie C1/B, one year to Serie B, one year to stay in Serie B, one year to promote to Serie A, one year to qualify for UEFA Cup getting 6-7th place, 3 years to win 3 UEFA Cups, then after that 3 years to win Champions' league 3 times in a row.

and, when I got promoted to Serie A, I had the capacity of 3,000 on my stadium, breaking all the low records.

OH YEAH!! I won the Champions League with Accrington Stanley - I wanted to be a REAL manager so I didn't buy ANY players - I just used the default players, and I fired all my coaching staff, and scouts. It took me 32 years to get to the EPL - by which time all my players were retired, and I played with the 'filler' squad (you know, the non-coloured in names). It took me 64 years to get into Europe. My highest attendance was 3, me, my dog and the waterboy (who is also my substitute goalie). We don't have a stadium, because we play at the local park, and all our games have to be rescheduled for the day since we have no night time games. We also have to walk to away games, or hitch a ride, but this is ok, because it gives time for the computer to simulate. It took me 39 years to win the Champions League (1-0 over Real Madrid, I got outshot 124-1) and with the money I was able to pay off my debt to the Russian mafia, and have 1000 pounds left over which I spent on balls, cones and other training equipment for my team. When I click on team finances, there comes a picture of a small tin box because that is where my team keeps our money (right now, 25 pence). Ok, at first I hate CM3.com messageboard and CM3.com itself (it's personal).

I am not putting anyone down, but it gets really pathetic when you here think that you did pretty good something that is elementary. Porto? Porto have about 20 million for transfers and it's nearly one of the best teams in Portugal. And that was the truth -- those guys would laugh at how you won everything with Porto if you say that that was an accomplishment -- because Porto has the best players in Portugal, and that i elementary to buy some other good players, like Sigturson, Duncliffe, other guys from low clubs and win the Champions' League.

And playing bad in CM games is ok; I suck at action games, I suck at strategy games, I am not that good at sports-action games, so Sports Managing is the best computer games genre I play, and I do it good. I am pretty sure that you are, Prashanth_SG, play better than me in all those genres I listed, and I donot care abou it. But the problem was that you won an easy game and you say that it could be one of the records and whatever. It is like me winning the Dune 2000 on easy difficulty and saying that I have the record.

I just had an e-mail note from my friend who informed me that in his Cm99/00 season...Arsenal have been relegated!!! The Gunners could only manage 6 wins in the whole season. He is managing Cardiff City and is currently in 11th place while Leeds are 1st.(in the Premier League) Now, thats what I call an acomplishment!

RR: You don't seem to understand that most people in this forum play big clubs because they want to make their dreem team. I will play with those teams down in conference when the players I admire retire. I not willing to play with the worst team there is just to impress others. sorry for sounding offensive if I did. For some reason, I just thought that a lot of CM gamers on SG forums are from little towns in England (like Drinky, who likes to play Cheltneham) and other countries. And I thought that those small towns have clubs in 2-3-conference divisions and it would be more interesting for you to put your home town club as champion, even with cheating, but to feel the pride of your team -- and to make a dream team is not hard with small club, believe me. It's just that you take the easiest way possible to get a dream team.


I was born in a town of about 600,000 (that is not big in USA and Russia) residents, and my city's team plays in East Conference in Russian 2nd division, and no Loko Moscow/Spartak Moscow or any team will ever be more favorite than my home team.
