I would like contracts in the 2006 career mode.
I think it would be good if you good offer good players long term contracts and in some cases players may turn down a new contract and leave your club. And players dont just retire randomly but turn down an possible extended contract.

I'm sure EA wants to keep a line between FIFA and TCM, otherwise it will end up being the same game and then they won't be able to sell 2 games which means less money for EA.

it would be cool if you have the option to borrow players in the career mode instead of having to buy them all the time.

that would be called a loan.

It would be even better if the national team asks if your player can play for them
