OTB is the biggest bug in fifa ever, in 04 you could make crosses the keeper didn't catch.
in 05 you can make a long pass on the wing that can't hardly be defended because the defender never stand on a line so that any player cancels the offside, so that the forward can make a run on the wing an bring in a otb cross that can't be catched by the keeper when you make the header with the pass button... so please remove this "feature" in order to make fifa a good football game again.. and by the way please improve the corner kicks, e.g. make it like the freekick-system

not many guys use it that much but u watch the world's best and boy do they kno how to use it so for their sake i would say keep it i sorta use it and it has its pros and cons but it wouldnt be the same with out it i guess

its ok but there could be better ways of getting a good cross in. Its annoying having a load of numbers on the pitch

They shouldn't ever get rid of features, just find ways to better implement them. I like how they used OTB for throw ins. Perhaps they could implement something like that for indirect free kicks, or corners. It'd be better than the current system.

OTB needs to be majorly revamped or scratched as a whole.

That stupid thing allows a perfect pass to whoever from however far away and perfect control by whoever recieves it.

ITs way too mechanical. The crosses in this game are cheesy as it is nevermind addint the cheapness of OTBC.

yes i know how to score goals in this way, but this isn't hard, because the way is unimaginable easy and there's no way to defend it when the cross comes in perfectly because the keeper is also a big bug beside the otb "Feature"

if it would free up some space for some better feature then yeah get rid of it

Personally I never use it. I used to in 2004 but pretty quickly I realized that it was cheap, crosses from your left winger to your right striker resulted in a goal 90% of the time. So I quit and haven't gone back to it in 2005. The fundamental problem with OTB is that it's copped from NBA Live, and basketball is a different sport entirely. In basketball you can have the point guard protect the ball while you use OTB to get a man open. But in soccer, there's no similar ball protection really, and I find it too difficult to get a decent player run without the ball getting taken from me. OTB will become pretty useless if EA gets rid of those ridiculously huge pitches in 2005 that are the bane of my existence.

I have an idea for a replacement. Have "one touch" plays that you can execute using the d-pad. Hit left on the d-pad, and your left winger will cut in towards the box. Hit down, and your defense will push up. Things like that.

I agree...

is not a bad idea.. just bad implemented

OTB should be for throw ins only.......other than that I think its too easy to abuse once you have mastered it.......
