Ok, since I installed the patch just a few days ago I'm wondering which club to manage. So I was hoping you'd have some advise on a nice club. It can be really everything from Dag&Red to Barcelona.

So I was hoping you'd have some advise on a nice club. It can be really everything from Dag&Red to Barcelona. PSVFOREVER 16-12-2004, 02:47:AM Boro, good squad, a lot of Dutch players, a lot to spend, but it's a challenge cause the wages are enourmous (more than 600k a week) mlsmanager2002 16-12-2004, 03:19:AM Odd Grenland. ¿Why not? Fernandez 16-12-2004, 04:30:AM Try Leeds. One hell of a difficult club. You won't win every match. Leeds4Life 16-12-2004, 04:55:AM Leeds of course! Second choice would be St. Pats Athletic in the Irish Premier. Reggina_freak 16-12-2004, 08:10:AM Reggina. Once you strenghten the defence they're a half decent ream to work with. Also, a home crowd of 25,000 + , start off with a bit to spend on wages and about 2m euro on transfers. xiaoarc 16-12-2004, 08:12:AM Everton..they are in 2nd place don't forget..;) Alistair 16-12-2004, 10:48:AM Yeah I want to try Leeds for a bit of challenge, get them back into EPL (H) ngyc 16-12-2004, 01:14:PM Originally posted by xiaoarc Everton..they are in 2nd place don't forget..;) they also some great player (no more rooney) :D tuomas706 16-12-2004, 03:43:PM leicester :D Áļéאָ 16-12-2004, 08:19:PM any small team with a decent president Dreath 16-12-2004, 08:44:PM I'm really enjoying my Monaco game. It puts you in a team with decent transfer funds (8 mill) but a pretty low wage budget 40k max for a top division club. In my 2nd season I got Monaco the title, and to the semi finals of the CL. On the way I knocked out Milan at group stage (my group was Arsenal, Milan, Basel and me), then I knocked out Man Utd 2nd round, Deportivo Quater finals and lost 4-3 on aggregate to Arsenal semifinal (from being 4-1 after 1st leg) Zlatan 16-12-2004, 08:48:PM That are some nice suggestions indeed...Difficult to choose one. Mayb I'll try a few of them. peruytu 17-12-2004, 02:17:AM How about NICE of France? :p Dan the monkey 17-12-2004, 02:24:AM Try Partick Thistle and see if ya can be the best in Scotland:D Or if your really good best in Europe:rolleyes: NIDOKING 17-12-2004, 06:25:AM Maybe you had made a selection, but here's my recommendation. Ejido, from Spanish Second Division, I'm in love with that club since CM4 and I always have a game with them :) I didn't have a game with them in FM05, but that's because I'm using the time I play updating Argentina DB :( Hyun 17-12-2004, 09:29:AM Leeds are fun. They seem hard, but they have some great talents to begin with so it shouldn't be needing total renovation and the bore from it. As much as I hate to say it because I know you won't heed it, try Feyenoord. Great fun with the talents. Or even PSV. After all, knowing your enemy best only helps you get better, yes? Zlatan 17-12-2004, 04:34:PM I don't think I can get it over my heart playing with Feyenoord man ;) castelen 20-12-2004, 12:56:AM try beveren they seem to have almost only ivorians, try to buy dindane, toure kalou and stuff, also look at the ages :crazyboy: http://img73.exs.cx/img73/6180/19xo.jpg NIDOKING 20-12-2004, 04:57:AM Could be an interesting challenge to only buy ivorians, selling all the belgians, and your squad must be 100% ivorian, and cannot have players from another country, ala Chivas or Bilbao :p PSVFOREVER 20-12-2004, 03:47:PM I would hate it to be fan of Beveren, that team has no identity at all, just a bunch of Ivorians running around without any organisation:( Bobby 20-12-2004, 04:14:PM Heh, Beveren is Arsenal's feeder club. That Marco Ne may go to Arsenal this month. They're there to gain EU status. Rob 20-12-2004, 04:31:PM Originally posted by Alistair Yeah I want to try Leeds for a bit of challenge, get them back into EPL (H) Why the f*ck would you want Leeds back in the EPL? PSVFOREVER 20-12-2004, 04:32:PM well, from the match I saw from them, none of the even looks like div1 standards in England. Leeds4Life 21-12-2004, 12:55:AM Originally posted by Rob Why the f*ck would you want Leeds back in the EPL? :p Chelski wank. Kulixs 21-12-2004, 04:25:AM Vauxhall Motors (H) Relegation battlers in Conference North, im having fun with them. Alistair 21-12-2004, 11:12:AM Originally posted by Rob Why the f*ck would you want Leeds back in the EPL? Duno, but just need a bit of challenge :) Nielz 21-12-2004, 10:04:PM My team is Stevenage :p just because i played it in Cm03/04 too and its great fun [English conference] |
