I dont know too much about the Italian league and Ive got this question.

Inter Milan seem to have lots and lots and lots and lots of money and lots and lots and lots and lots of really good players.

How come they seem to be an average side in the Serie A?

As a life long Inter Fan I've asked that question. Sure Inter have tons of individual talent more than say Juventus or AC Milan. Problem is that the players change clubs on inter so often that none have chemistry.

For eg look at Brasil the reason they're doing so poor is that the coach plays a different team every game. Whereas France whose players have less individual talent than the Brasilians play together so much that their movements are instinctive.

Its not fair to make a generalisation like that.

A lot of French players have more talent than Brasilian players. Perhaps even the majority. Thats why they are the world champions.

Shearer im not going to get dragged into one of your flame wars. All im saying is that players like Rivaldo, Roberto Carlos, Emerson, Ronaldinho, Alex all are worth more money that you could imagine. Thats because they are great individual players with tons of individual talent. Thus respective clubs are willing to pay a ton for them.

With the exception of Zidane and to a lesser extent Henry not many French national teamers are considered as highly talented individually. Eg Deschamps, Desially, Petit thus their lower player values. But they are great as a team together thats all im saying.

notice in the 98/99 season they reached quarter-finals in CL but 9th or something like that in serie A

individuals can win u a couple of matches(even very tough ones) butcan't give u a continous performance!
Inter--> NO STRUCTURE!

the same I would say about Chelsea, spending lots of money on tranfers (British level) and not winning the Premiership itself. Chelsea have just 4 regular Englishmen, 1 of them is the %100 regular guy (Wise), others will get less playing time this season with arrival of a quite a colony (Morris & Harley). Don't know about Le Saux.

I am pretty sure that Inter will have about 2 italians %100 in the first 11 squad, and that's about it. maybe more, but that's why I said "about". nothing new is here -- they will finish 4th in the serie A.

may I remind you that both Deschamps and Desailly are European and world champions and both belong to the select group of players that has won the champions league twice with two different clubs....

All those players that you claim to be the best are only going to get that credit from me when/if they win a champions league at least once(or at least reach the finals)
