I'm playing ML and tried to buy couple of players during the off season. I even put the difficulty on 1 STAR!!!

I offer 40000 +VanHorseFace for Henry (valued at 16000) and it gets rejected.

I offer 30000 for 12000 valued Aimar, rejected.

I offer 30000 + Roy Keane for 13000 valued Gerrard, rejected.

I offer 9000 for a 4800 valued FREE AGENT, and it gets rejected?

HOW THE HELL DOES THIS TRANSFER SYSTEM WORK?

It depends what position you are in the league and the club you're trying to buy the player from. If they're free agents they may still be holding out from an offer from a club higher up the WEFA rankings.

Other than that, no freaking clue - I had Alan Smith leave me (Manchester United) to go play for Norwich after refusing to renew his contract! Wait until I play Norwich - I'm gonna break his freaking legs!

Yeah!

I even get offers for players like Spector, Rossi, etc. All the youngsters!

Ok, so the WEFA rankings play a major role in the transfers. I guess its like club reputations in CM.

Aha, its beggining to make sense!

is there a relationship between Money offered and wage?

I mean the higher the bid, would they expect a higher wage???

Definitely. The signing fee will go to the club but the wages go to the player. You can convince the club to release but if you don't offer enough wages for the player that can be a stumbling block.

Well..on the ps2 it was buggered..

Me and ym cousin played about 4-5 seasons, first in WEFA, won the league every season and only lost a cup once, and this is on 6 stars.

And we cant even get players, we have to save before the transfer period and try for hours to get some players..

It really is bollocks, you would think being top of WEFA and winning the league every season would result in people desperate to join your club, but its the opposite.
