Hi.
Can somebody do some Euro 2004 Stadiums?
They are all new, build for Euro 2004. Lightouts are SL Benfica's Stadium (the most beautiful, where the final was played, 65.000), Porto Stadium (40.000 or 50.000) and Sporting Stadium (45.000 or something like that).

I know Portugal don't have much strenght as a country, and i know that nowadays only Porto plays cards in Europe as far as portuguese football goes, but i think Porto and Benfica should have their stadiums in the game. The beautiful stadium of the Euro 2004 final (Benfica) and the stadium of the european champions league winners (Porto).

edit:
I just read that Porto's stadium was already made by someone, so PLEASEEE somebody do the Benfica Stadium, is beautiful and Benfica is still the biggest team in Portugal by far.

i don't want to enter a discussion here about whose stadium is more beautiful... but Alvalade is NOT the most beautiful for sure.
You probably say that 'cause you are a Sporting fan, but c' mon... give me a break.

For me, the most beautiful is Braga Stadium, then Dragão (FCPorto) and then Luz (Benfica).

If I would put a portuguese stadium to put in PES4, the first would be the Braga Stadium. It only goes for 30000 people, but it is...just beatiful.

Then I would do the Sporting stadium, which is really beatiful.(and yes, I am a Sporting fan, but some people need to admit that the stadium is really beatiful.)

Then I would make Estádio do Dragão, which in my opinion, is better than the Sporting Stadium, but I am a Sporting Fan. Xiu. xD

The best stadium in Portugal is Portos is it not?
Was that the one they used in Euro 2004 final?

I don't know what you mean by "the best" stadium...
if its the capacity it isn't, Porto stadium has 40.000 or 50.000 and Benfica has 65.000.
If it is the prestige, it isn't the best also, Euro 2004 final was in Benfica's stadium.
Anyway, this thread is transforming in just a type of "sporting-is-the-most-beautiful-i'm-a-sporting-fan" kind of sh*t talk.
I just know for sure that the new portuguese stadiums deserve to be in PES, 'cause they are modern, they have the looks and Porto and Benfica have plenty of history in football, especially Benfica, even though Porto has the edge in the last 2 decades.
problem is that Portugal doesn't have the same impact as for example, England. But look at what realy makes a clubs history, and only 1 english team as more grandeur than Porto and Benfica... that is Manchester United... and ALOT os stadiums in England apperar in PES. Small stadiums... nothing really special about them.
Go search for pictures of the new portuguese stadiums and tell me if they don't deserve to be in the game.
Made specially for Euro 2004. Come on, Vodacon? A rugby stadium in South Africa? with grass that hurts the eyes.

PS- Maracana in Brasil should be in there too, its not a recent stadium, but anyone who loves football knows that that stadium is for football like the Vatican is for Catholicism.
I'd like to play a Fla - Flu in Maracana.
We can edit the teams, so please konami, give us more stadiums... or take out Vodacons and some premiership banal stadiums that don't deserve to be there, and put the ones who do.

UnitedFan2503

1. Estadio do Dragao has a capacity of 50,948
2. It isn't Vodacom Park at all, it is a little known stadium called Estadio Capwell in Guayaquil, Ecuador - 18,614 capacity
http://www.fussballtempel.net/conmebol/ECU/Capwell.html

I know this because Vodacom Park has two tiers for its major granstand (the 3 stands that are linked) and the fourth stand has a roof, PES stadium doesnt. If you don't believe me take a look at http://www.fscheetahs.co.za/default.asp?cid=3320

3. Can i just clarify that (even though it hasn't been mentioned at all, but it may come seen as though its hardly a stadium with a well known team in it, so therefore insignificant to the game) Nakhon Ratchasima is not Seoul, it is the King Fahd International Stadium in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

United Fan, so nice informations you bring us there... thanks...

http://www.stadionwelt.de/stadionwelt_stadien/templates/stadionlisten/suedkorea/seoul_world_cup_stadium/140.jpg
Hm... in some angles they are similar... but in a lot of angles, they re totally different... I remember this Saudi Arabian stadium... we won a Confederations Cup in there i think...

m8, how did you find this Ecuador stadium?
I mean... why did they put an equatorian stadium with a south african stadium name...

Who knows... Strange Konami.

UnitedFan2503
30-12-2004, 10:24:PM
I know that King Fahd is 1 tiered for most of it but it is definately, like with roof and stuff

Konami must have changed it a bit because they would have to officialy make it King Fahd, or summat like that, I don't really know how i found the Ecuador stadium lol i was searchin to try and find out what everyone thinks is Estadio Nacional, because it cant be with the two-tiered stand and crazy one tiered stand behind the goal, Estadio Nacional is one-tiered all the way around the bowl. Maybe Konami did the same again?

Scratch-Br
30-12-2004, 10:52:PM
anyway, even if it's King Fahd there, it's not the correct one...

Scoreboard in different places... different seats organization... i mean... 1 level / 2 levels...

but they're really strange.
Ecuador One, replaces Vodacom, not Estadio Nacional... or maybe Estadio Nacional is wrong too?

UnitedFan2503

No I meant i was trying to find out the real stadium for that stadium, because it can't be Estadio Nacional, And I found thew Ecuador stadium along the way
