What do you think?

Who should the squad be?

If I see ANYONE with the last name of Neville on the pitch then I will scream.

Your first lineup would win the World Cup, European Championships, & Copa America!!

How you ask?

I don't know. But 11 Alan Shearers' would find a way! http://www.soccergaming.com/ubb/wink.gif http://www.soccergaming.com/ubb/wink.gif

First of all 3 5 2 is the only way to go for England who apparently have no left handed people in their entire country.

And start all youth the way France did after then didnt qualify for the 1994 World cup.

Its time to say goodbye and thankyou to Ince Adams McMannamon etc.

If your in your 30's so long cause your a liability.

GK Wright
LCB Woodgate
CB Ferdinand
RCB Campbell (c)
LW Cole
RCM Dyer
LCM Gerrard
AM Scholes
RW Beckham
ST Heskey
ST Owen

This team could cause damage if they get 30+ games by 2002. And they would easily make the quarterfinals of WC 2002 if they get experience together. And the great thing is they are all in the same league.

10. Cole
11. Phillips

GK Richard Wright
LB Le Saux - Old I know, but not a Neville
CD Sol Campbell
RB Kerion Dyer
DM Rio Ferdinand
RM Beckham
CM Gerrard
LM Macca
AM Joe Cole - He may be ready
ST Phillips
ST Owen

Very youthful, except for the only left back on the Island, Le Saux.

if a player is old, it doesn't mean that he sucks, right? England needs players like Zidane, Dessaily, Baggio, Di Livio, Stam, Birhoff, and England won't have enough of players like Shearer, McManaman, An. Cole, others too who can turn things a bit with their experience and leadership. Youngsters play great when there are enough of experienced players on the pitch. Why the hell do you think England made a pisspoor performance on Euro 2000? Keegan? Not really, it was just lots of those young players like Owen, Heskey, P. Neville.

kind of agree but it's not really the expeience lacked but the number of players in that HIGH caliber that can change things!

they do not have alot of really good players right now !

maybe some who are promosing and others who used to be good

sheare, becham, scholes, macca and owen that's it the rest are NORMAL!

MACCA WAS OUT,OWEN WAS OUT OF FORM and that's why 3 players isn't enough at this level!( no impressive tactics/team work to make up for that either!)
