I'm curious with the likes of Kaka and Ronaldinho bothing being attacking midfielders.

How I would do If I was Brasil coach:
--------- Dida--------

-----Cafu------ ------ R. Carlos-----

-----------Roque Junior-------------

----Ze Roberto--- ---Emerson----

--------Kaka--------- --------Kleberson-------

-------Ronaldinho----------

--------Ronaldo---------- ---------Adriano------------

3-5-2, thats the "golden" line-up, if brasil use this; they would do mad damage..............

roque junior is the only defender 'cause Cafu and R. Carlos are always pushing the ball up the sides...everybody else attacks:rolleyes:

The formation is :

--------------Dida---------------------
Cafú----Juan---R.Júnior---Carlos-
---------------------------------------
-----------Renato--------------------
---Juninho---------------------------
------------------------Zé Roberto--
----------------------------------------
-----------Kaká----Ronaldinho-----
-----------------Ronaldo-------------

Juninho plays as a DMC but he has some more freedom to join the attack. Ronaldinho comes back to get the ball pretty often and Ronaldo is the lone man upfront. Cafú and R. Carlos always go up to deliver crosses (that's why our defense sucks aswell). Zé Roberto provides cover to Carlos on the left plus he joins the attack. Helps with defensive duties aswell.

--------------Cris--Emerson

--R. Carlos---Lucio-----Juan----Cafu

-------------------Dida

It's a good lineup, but what the hell is Cris doing there? Especially as a DMC.:crazyboy:

No one came to mind :crazyboy:

Though I guess I should have opted for Gilberto or Edu instead :D

But I thought Cris could play as a DM and a CB?

He's a centre-back. You could put Renato or Juninho alongside Emerson. Also, Julio Baptista was originally a DMC. Considering you've got Emerson there, he's your main man when we're talking about defending. The other DMC should be someone that helps with defending, but has the quality to join the attack and to do some playmaking on his own.

-------Adriano----------------------Ronaldo

Funny how everyone's showing off their Brazilian dream teams when the innitial question was "what formation Brazil use". :p

--------------------------Kaka------------------
-----Ze Roberto-------------------------------
----------------------------------Juninho------

That's my team up there the only thing I'd is change R.J. with Bordon or Edmilson and switch dinho and kaka's position for dinho plays a lot better when he has more space and time to get the plays up front

without injuries:

I would put

=========Dida==========
======================
=Cafu=Lucio=r.junior=r.carlos=
======================
========Emerson========
===Juninho=====Kaka=====
=======Ronaldinho=======
======================
=====Ronaldo==Adriano====

I thought Ronaldo and Adriano couldn't play upfront together?

Bonzi
21-12-2004, 10:17:PM
what is Junior doing there?? he doesn't deserve to play, at least as a starter. he could be easily replaced with Edmilson or Juan...

The best attack in the world...

Damn, can't wait till Germany 06'.

Roni, Adriano and Dinho curshing the opposition... wonder who'll be able to stop them?

21-12-2004, 10:27:PM
Luisão could be a good option for the centre back position :$

Brazil's problem is having too many stars, indeed. Many players who deserve to be in a World Cup won't be called neither in 2006 or even 2010.

There is no way in hell that Parreira can seriously start Roque Junior ever again. There's Edmilson, Juan, Cris, and Luisao who would all be better partners for Lucio then Roque J.

Lean
22-12-2004, 03:24:AM
Lucio isnt considered a starter. Cris is pretty inconsistent, and Edmilson is injured. When he comes back he'll be a good option although Parreira loves to use him as a DMC instead. He is playing Juan + Roque because they play together at Leverkusen.

Leverkusen's defence is shaky as hell but well...

Hendrik
22-12-2004, 03:27:AM
Bordon is the best Brazilian defender but no one will listen to my anyway so I go with Lucio and Juan, they know each other well.

Then they have guys like Luisao or Edmilson, all quality players.

SB9Dragon
22-12-2004, 03:29:AM
Bordon? Doesn't he play in the Bundesliga? With what team? Werder Bremen perhaps? Or is it Stuttgart?

I've heard this guys name before but I can't remember where.

Lean
22-12-2004, 03:29:AM
I would like to see Luisão and Juan as the centre-backs and Edmilson alongside Juninho in front of them. Bordon is good but he's old and that's why Parreira wont call him up as he's thinking ahead, obviously because of the 2006 WC where Bordon will be slow as hell and past his prime.

Hendrik
22-12-2004, 03:35:AM
He's 28, that's a good age and he would still be in his rpime in two years.

It's got more to do with two guys playing on the wings, Roberto Carlos even makes Samuel look bad.

He moved from Stuttgart to Schalke at the beginning of the season.
