i think i will stop playing PES4 and wait for WE8 for PC instead..just like the previous version..WE7...PES is really pathetic....

PC users will not be ignored as always because the FE versions were always intended to be PS2 exclusives. You guys got PES4, right? :D

WE 8 I or FE will be out for pc because the last year we 7i was out for pc

we deserve somethin too. too bad it's ps2 and japan exclusive, not my fault.

Why not just buy a PS2 then? They're quite cheap now, especially when compared to the price of a decent PC (and you need a decent PC to play PES4).

PS2 version plays better than PC anyway.....hard to define why, but it just feels more natural.

And I'm sure the FE version will be lovely....not to be missed.

Can you turn on Anisotropic filtering and Anti-aliasing on a crappy PS2? No, didn't think so

can you play we8fe on your pc? didn't think so. ;)

I'll cross my fingers and hope the US PS2 gets this version. We will see.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news but US is getting PES4, sadly.

For sure, the PC has MUCH superior gfx. The PS2 gfx look all the poorer when you've played the PC at max res for a few days, then go back to the PS2 version....looks quite pixely.

But after a few mins of playing, you soon forget all about that.

I'm kinda bored with PES4 on PC already. I've been playing WE8 J-League on PS2 and when I go back to PES4 on PC, it just feels like it's lacking.

And when FE comes out, I'd hate to be stuck with the rather lumpy gameplay on PC (albeit with prettier graphics) knowing that something better is available.

PS2 is old but it's still a great wee machine.

Dunno what this WE8 FE is but WE8 will come on PC Q2 2005 according to Gamespot.

Well, let me enlighten you:

WE8 PC = PES4 PC + Official Konami Patche(s).

WE8FE = sequel to WE8 PS2.

I think that we8 fe or int. will be released both in ps2 and pc (the same version) who said that will be different versions?

This used to confuse me as hell but when you look at it everything makes alot of sence and it`s pretty damn easy to figure it out..

You should always follow what happened next year and the year after, etc..etc..etc.. so this year 04/05 it won`t be any different.

USA will get Winning Eleven 8 International (North American version) which will be very - very similar to PES4 if not ( 100% the same ) the only difference will be updated rosters and another minor updates...other than that you should not expect the game to be ONLINE because it won`t. So USA will get WE8I that will be PES4 (The one released in Europe "PAL FORMAT").

As far as this WE8I being on PC yes it is very possible but for people in the states that own PES4 already, they don`t need to get WE8I then.

Now Winning Eleven 8 International J (J stants for Japan - means this version is recognised as international version which supports 6 different languages (Japanese, Italian, French, German, Spanisn and English). This version could also be known as FE (Final Evolution). This version will be similar to WE8 (the version released in Japan monts after good old' Winning Eleven 7 International J) however it will be better. We can expect more licensed teams even leagues, updated team rosters more tricks/moves improved gameplay etc.. so WE8 International J (or FE) will be the last version of WE series until WE9). At this point WE8IJ(FE) will be released for PS2 only. After they release this version then they might start doing the same version for XBOX, PC gamecube etc.. but PS2 is first.

thanx jumbo i was getting worried. I heard U.S. release dates around JUNE!!!!!:( :o :o , I was going to kill myself. I mean I'm still hanging in there in my 12th season of WE7i (PS2) but I am really getting jealous of all you guys. You've been playing the best football game in the world for the past 4 months, while I sit here and salivate.

Come on Konami you have to change this tripartate release process. The game should come out every year for everybody at the SAME time.

The only reason I got my PS2 last time was for WE/PES games. During that time there were no PC release of WE/PES. Although now that is, i only play pes4 for the online feature but my master league and stuff are on my ps2. (H)
