2 Greek Teams in the CL!

In front of 50,000 crazy fans PAO won 2-1 with goals from Lymberopoulos and Pflipsen (Penalty).

Lymberopoulos,Karagounis and Sousa were by far the best players!

Karagounis missed about 4 chacnes and Lymbe missed about 3. It could have easily been 4-1.....

Oh gee. Steaua Bucuresti is going to take the cup next year. They jsu t beat Dinamo 4-1 which Polonia had problems with. Panath. had problems with Polonia. Steaua is going to win CL again just like in 86!!!!!!! anyone agree? Even if they dont, they will get really far.!!!!!

Say what? Panathinaikos had problems with Polonia? PPPLLLLEEEEAAAASSSSSEEE. I hate Pana but I must admit one thing. Problems they did not have, thay should of won the fist game and in the second game the score could of been 10-0. How do you know thay had problems? They didn't show those games in Romania. Please spare us. Olympiakos and Panathinaikos are two teams that will represent greece in the CL with good success and that's that.

Seeing the draw I don't think that Panathinaikos will get more than 3 draws in home games. So it up to Olympiakos to take Greece some places up at the UEFA rankings.

I didnt see the game either, but weren't Polonia 1 man down from the 30th minute because of red card? Also frankly I don't think that Polonia team was good enough to play in the Champions League, they would have probably lost all their games except one or two. They barely made any improvements to the squad and were't even playing their home games in Warsaw but in some city 100 miles away because their stadium didnt meet UEFA requirements.

But next year look for the Polish champion to be actually a pretty good team, either Pogon Szczecin(now owned by a Turkish mogul who said he will do everything to get them in the Champions league!), or Legia Warsaw or Wisla Krakow. All of those teams have owners with some relatively deep pockets.

Also lets face it it's all a matter of draw! No way in hell can you tell me Sturm Graz is better than the Polish champions in the past years yet now 4 years in a row they are in the league stage!

Atleast you speak the truth PP. I was surprise with the ease Pana had on going through. Polish teams are usually tough to beat. Yes your right. Polonia was left with ten players from the 43 min. They scored at the 86 min to make it 2-1 it was over by then but as we have seen before the round God doesn't make up it's mind untill the last wistle.

Kostas, hmmmm... First of all they did show the games in Romania. How the hell would you know? Second of all I currently live in the USA. Oh yeah i did see the game. I don't care if Pana dominated the second game but they just can't score alot. The first game they did have problems. Oh yeah remember that last game in 98 where Steaua 3-1 over Olympiakos. Oh well.

I'm sorry I can't recall such a game. Olympiakos Steaoua? 98? Were you guys in the CL then? Cause Oly has been for the past 5 years. I may be making a mistake but it deosn't triger anything, really I may be making a mistake. Then again Steaoua won way back in PK's against Milan but that doesn't mean anything today. I only feel sorry for poor Dugadan the way he was treted after that game from Chau. But please don't talk about Olympiakos. Steaoua's way out of Oly's league. I beleave you Stauoa is good but please.

Kostas, don't be making a fool out of yourself. The won against Barcelona and them in 89 they lost in the final to Milan. We were in CL in 98 we have always been there except for last year. But then again this year we will het really far. You'll see. I'm surprised you don't remember that game. I'll se if i can find the result on the net.

Because I know OSFP would never lose to (Whatever there name was...j/k) 3-1. Steaua is a good team, but like Kostas said, not near Olympiakos.....
