I know that Argentina won the 4 games played in WC2002 qualifying, but I think they are loosing the south american style and I don’t know if that’s good or not.

View Full Version : Argentina is the perfect mix between European and South American football kevedo 03-07-2000, 05:40:PM I know that Argentina won the 4 games played in WC2002 qualifying, but I think they are loosing the south american style and I don’t know if that’s good or not. Ruben Sosa 03-07-2000, 09:41:PM Well they won their 4 first games but it's not like the played against the toughf teams. Example: Match 1 Argentina - Chile (4-1) Chile has gone down hill ever since the Copa America, I truly doubt they'll qualify Match 2 Argentina - Venezuela (4-0) Nuf Said Match 3 Argentina - Bolivia (1-0) Bolivia's resting at the bottom of the chart Match 4 Argentina - Colombia (3-1) I think Colombia is the toughfest team they played yet. And even then their results in turnaments haven't been so hot. World Cup 98, Group Stage; Copa America, Quater Finals; Olimpic Qualifiers, Group Stage. I think they got to the Semis in the Gold Cup but I'm not sure. Wait till the 26th when they play Brazil, then I might agree with you.
