As I said England have a ton of young talent. KK should pick about 15 regulars and play them ever game until wc2002. Out to ince out to adams out to macca.

I like Owen you got the pace and dribble. Also Heskey strength and height.

My full team for now and every game til 2002 is

Wright

Defense

Woodgate
Campbell
Ferdinand
Thatcher
Wes Brown

Midfield
Beckham
Joe Cole
Dyer
Scholes
Gerrard
F Lampard
M Ball
Hendrie

Attack
Owen
Heskey
Bridges
Smith

Those should be the regulars.

The others out.

Nice to see a non Leeds fan talking about smith and bridges for the england squad.

I would agree with Smith, but not bridges, not yet. He has been poor so far this season and wasn't really outstanding last season despite 21 goals.

Phil...

To be fair to Bridges he is there to score goals and he did do that last season.

Also Smith had a shocker last season but that was due to alot of niggling injuries. Good to see him get 4 to start the season!!

he is a good foil for Viduka i think..

I supose I was a bit hard on Bridges, but he hasn't looked at al good, he needs a goal, he's lacking confidence. Smith is back and as you say he is enjoying playing alongside Viduka.

To be honest I can't see us playing 4-3-3 when everyone is fit and Smith can't be dropped on this form so that leaves Bridges with a lot to do.

I will see if he does any better against man city, thats the next game I've got a ticket for.

i agree...i think that 4-4-2 will be the way to go when Macphail and Wilcox return

there are too many class midfielders to only play wiht 3.

4 4 2 with wingers only works well if you have TWO good left footers. England doesnt even have 1!!!

Eg Zenden Overmars / R Carlos Rivaldo/
They should use a 3 5 2 with wing backs Beckham and Cole who would cut in.

COLE AS A WING BACK?????????

???????????????????????????????????????????

And Wilcox is the player that England needs...pity he was injured for Euro 2000

IMO...

Martyn, Smith, Bridges, Bowyer, Woodgate, Robinson, Matteo, J Cole, Lampard, Carrick, Barry, R Ferdinand, Beckham, Scholes, Weaver, Owen, Gray, Campbell, Gerrard, Dyer, Phillips

...are the players who should be making up the England squad by WC 2002

Can't Keegan realise that Adams, Keown, Ince, McManaman, Nevilles etc aren't doing a decent job? D O'Leary got it right, he saw youth at Leeds and look where it's got us.

The team I would choose is..

Martyn (Weaver, Robinson)

Barry
Woodgate
Ferdinand
Dyer
(Gray, Campbell, Matteo)

J Cole
Scholes
Bowyer
Beckham
(Carrick, Gerrard)

Phillips
Smith
(Owen, Bridges)
