im sure many of you out there have this disturbing issue in the game...

for me, when i first install this game, it was running smoothly but when i came back from my camp last 2 weeks, i was horrified to find the game with the sound lags.... my first suspicion was that my PC was infected with some virus or something. but after days of scanning and stuff, there was still no sign of any bug including those spyware....

i then tried all sort of stuff from adjusting the sound hardware accelertor to re-installing PRO Evo, drivers, graphic card, bios setting and stuff but it didnt work..... i even thought that maybe my hardware was gonna die on me soon... but i realise that the major culprit was the CPU Load thingy. i found out that my cpu load will suddenly jump to 100% even when it is idle..... from there i found out that there was this virus residing in the background service named crss.exe which was a worm. it causes the system to slow down significantly. i removed it according to some instructions on the web, rebooted it and WHAM! welcome back PRo Evo...

try do a check on your task manager and see if theres a weird program lurking there and draining your memory... it might just help....

Hey mate is the virus named csrss.exe because i have that process running on my pc and i have had probs in pro evolution soccer 4 which has led in both sound lag and reboots. I hoping it is that process causing the problems and that you have just missed the 's' in the processes name.

If you could be kind please could you send me a good site in getting rid off this process if of course the process i named is the virus. Thanks in advance mate!

csrss.exe is Microsoft Client/Server Runtime Server Subsystem which is a process that manages most graphical commands in Windows. This process is important for the stable and secure running of your computer and should not be terminated. However, a virus can infect this process and make it use 100% CPU all the time. It should be removed according to some antivirus sites, just use google.

looks like its a valid function, there is one called crss that is a virus tho

- crss.exe is a virus
- csrss.exe is a microsoft file (like said domin8or).
