How about the players having the Havok ragdoll constraint so that they fall realistically after a tackle so it'd be different everytime. this doesn't just have to be used for tackles, it could be used for kicking the ball or even the ball itself. the possibilities are endless.

And the ability to slide in on the goalie. Also it seems to be a delay on response of players when selected.

Whats wrong with that suggestion.
The ragdoll effect is used in the FPSs like Half-Life2 so that things react realistically to things hitting them and generally interacting with them.

That does explain what is wrong with the suggestion

Yeah, that physics engine is truly amazing ..

Yeah so I think it should be used in the game for realism

It could also be used fot in-air collissions, like if the goalie, one defender and one attacker crashes into each other all at once ..

You could use the ragdoll effect for anything in the game, the collisions, the tackles etc. but i don't think you'd want it on the ball, because then it'd be too realistic and you'd scew the ball if you didn't hit in cleanly which would be really annoying and you wouldn't get anywhere:crazyboy:
