Sharpey was once my favourite players in the shirt. Shame he wasn't hungry enough to be a Manchester United player, he was always out on the town and because of that it, ruined his career at the top level. Lee was a special guest pundit for Sky Sports live coverage of Aston Villa v Manchester United a couple of weeks ago. Just seeing him in the studio brought back great memories.

I'd also remembered when he came to Singapore to appear on ESPNStarSports to do the football punditry shows as a guest.

I still remember when he saved Frankfurt from relegation in 1999.
Matchday 34
Frankfurt was 3 points behind Nürnberg and they had to score some goals to reach place 15.
Frankfurt had to play the german champion Kaiserslautern. The half-time result was 0:0. Frankfurt would have been relegated. Then Frankfurt scored some goals and in minute 90 the score was 4:1 Frankfurt. They had to score one more goal to be saved. Then Fjörtoft scored an amazing goal. Final result 5:1. Frankfurt was saved and Nürnberg who already were celebrating was relegated.
Legend!

After Liverpool he went to Brøndby on loan!
Then he joined Blackburn and stayed there until 2003,he got a injury in the face and could suffer blindness if he got another blow tho the face!then he retired from playing, and now is assistant manager for Norway NT.

Egil Ostenstad moved to Blackburn as makeweight for Kevin Davies' move back to Southampton, before spending some time at Rangers where he achieved very little.

Lee Sharpe, after leaving Man Utd as he lost out on the left wing slot against Ryan Giggs, went to Leeds, where he was at first in good form before injury wrecked his career. A loan move to Sampdoria followed, with hilarious results before he decided to join the mercenary bandwagon at Bradford, who were relegated unsurprisingly. He then spent a few seasons in the south coast for lower division teams. He is now playing in non-league, I think.

Mark Draper is now retired following his failure to recover from injury. He spent a spell at Southampton after his time at Villa, but was dogged with injuries.

Simon Grayson is currently playing in League One for Blackpool. He had a spell at Blackburn after his time at Villa, where he suffered relegation in Brian Kidd's time in charge.

Trevor Sinclair is still at Man City but I think he is out with a long term injury at the moment.

Bernard Lambourde is playing in the Middle East (in UAE, I think).

No idea where Kitson is now but do remember him playing for Charlton briefly after his time at West Ham. Probably retired now.

Phil Babb had a spell at Sporting Lisbon where he, incredibly, had a good season. His return to England, however, ended in calamity as he was part of the Sunderland defence that leaked goals for fun and were down under the steerage of Sgt Wilko.
