What if you offer a good player around 50 million euros for a transfer, but outside of the transf.window.Then, when the window is near, you cancel the deal (I think you can do that, I am not sure if it's possible in FM but it was possible in CM0304).So the transfer doesn't go thru. But during that period, you keep declaring interest and offering his club transfer money which they would negotiate.Or you keep delaying the deal. This way, the club won't renew with the player. When the window is closed, you offer a huge amount which they would accept. You agree a deal so the player would complete a move in the next window. This way, none of the other potential candidates for his signature would try to sign him and you'd be in no threat of him renewing. Then you cancel it again before the window and keep his club busy with offers. You repeat this until it's less than 6 months to the end of his contract. Then you get him for free.

Has anyone tried this?

Would it work?

I highly doubt a club would deal with all that crap.

Or were you just joking around?:(

i would possibly do that, but i know that i'd forget to cancel the deal and end up paying a ridiculous amount for a player :(

You can either do that or just sign him.

If you want a quick signing you should not try this method.

It's really cheating. If I was the club involved in real life, I'd report it to FIFA. (H)

Of course it's cheating.
