in fifa, i think wut would make it a GREAT game would be more realism in the game and better atmosphere, make it like a real life game would be

atmosphere was alot better in 2005 but still needs improvements, lyk crowd fer example cos in real life if u watch half the time the crowd doesn;t start "celebrating" until the person scores and they don't "celebrate" when a player just misses a shot, when they score they celebrate, and when they miss they all say oooooooohh and put btheir hands on their heads and in soiuth america and countrie's around spain with big stadiums, fans run up to the fence when their team scores and celebrates, more can be elaborated on but thats just the start with the crowd, what we want is a great atmosphere ea, ATMOSPHERE AND GAMEPLAY!!!

The crowds in 05 r certainly the best ever.They do look like cardboard cutouts but there is a reason behind it.....the computer wont be able to handle 70000 polygons all moving in different directions and having different actions.But i do agree with having more colourful flares and people throwing paper.

What i liked about 05, there were only flares in countries who used them,like Italy, but they dont use them in England or Scotland.

cardboard cut outs just don't do it fer me i need 3d realistic crods, lyk pes at least, and yes soccer woujldn 't be right with out, banners, paper and flares, just look at the south american leagues, there is so much of everything at each game

I just hope EA makes the crowd chants actually loud enough so you can hear it! I hate having to turn my tv all the way up just so I can hear "You'll Never Walk Alone".

I think that they should redo the chants. they should have more singing and like they do in Central america auctually play mucic in the stands

Yea the crowd and the whole big match feel really needs to shine in pretty much any sports game because thats what makes watching a game so great. Theres a few ways that could make it much better specially during chants and celebrations.

If its a rival game, have the crowd much louder than usual during goals and have them boo louder if there team gets fouled or injured or whatever because you want to bring that feeling of your team going against there biggest rival, Now during a regular season match or exhibition the crowd would be loud but maybe not THAT loud, but only during Cup matches and rival matches is were the game should really show a diffrence in the crowds.

The crowd should deff have more flags (diffrent sizes would look cool), banners, etc.. and after a goal show cut scenes that pan over the crowd waving flags, banners, throwing graffiti or whatever and having the grafitti stay on the pitch or atleast ont he sides. Aslo close-ups of a few people would be cool, wearing team shirts, hats, waving flags banners. Huging eachother just plain going crazy.

Plain and simple make the crowds a main focal point with more cut scenes, and bring the crowd to life with even more depth. Make them as part of the action.

yeah and have music that is played b4 games lyk in champs league they have the champs league anthem and when ever barca play at nou camp they have the barca anthem, more realistic!!! also they should be having a look at styles of celebrations of fans etc cos this can give the game a great sense of atmosphere wile playin

yea thats true, I dont mind watching little cut scenes here and there, just like when players get injured or substituted, its those things that pull the game together and seeing how important the crowd is and how they react to goals, injuries, fouls, substitutions etc.. its really an important feature, like if someone on your team scored 2 goals and you end up taking him out either the crowd will be mad or be happy that he's getting a break, well you all know what I mean..

yeah and also they should have the intro scenes from pes, ea could learn alot from this cos it is alot better than fifa, sets the scene perfectly!!!

Yeah some shots from when they are in the stadium for example Anfield when the Liv players come out through the tunnel the always touch the liverpool emblem things like that. And In important matches big replica football shirts and one end and a number of flares and variety sizes of flags big ones small ones that'll look awesome. :)

it will be great if we see some group leaders running trough the crowd and make them do something like jumpimp, or making the wave or starting new chants. Also put like the names of different groups that support that team, for example in honduras CD olimpia has the Ultrafiel

why did EA drop the crowd cinematic in 2005 which was in 04?:(
It looked gr8 and also the cinematic,which comes very rarely,where the crowd get angry over a yellow card...We should have more cinematics.I dont care how long they r. Just include them.
And the chants should certainly be louder. EA should include more chants and record it with more people singing them. And of course more flares r welcome

The fans need original banners, more flags, flares and scarves. They should put in banners from like ultra groups or sumting, like the Fossa dei Leoni for Milan, and the Irriducibili fro Lazio.It would make it seem way more real!

This game shows less and less passion every year. Simply putting in chants for popular clubs is not enough. Where are the crowd cinematics? Most of us want the game to show more passion. The guys at EA should buy ESPN Football 2k5 and study it for a month. Sega even shows the fans tailgating outside the stadium before a game.
Why EA fails to show passion in a game that is all about passion is a real puzzle to me!!!!
