how do you find out the potential of a player and how does it effect the player if he has a high potential rating?

To see the potential of a player you will have to download mcfm05 or fmscout. This is cheating though, you're not suppost to see it. IMO it takes away a fun part of the game.

How higher the potential the better a player CAN become. Somebody with high potential ability can become the new, let's say Zidane, while a player with a lower potential ability, will remain, hoe good he trains or anything, worse than Zidane.

fmscout only takes awat a bit of the fun, though if you just wanna sneak a peek at whether a player is worth pursuing it is ok in my opinion, becasue in RL, your scouts report would reveal a lot more anyway :p

FMScout helps because no matter which player I scout, from Rafael van der Vaart to Lee Hendrie, they keep saying he is a player with "no future in professional football" and stop at that. Nice scout report. :rolleyes:
