Does anyone know how to un-install Direct X 7????

yes.format your harddisk and reinstall windows.

Why do you want to uninstall it? Problems? I´m downloading DirectX 7 this very minute...

However, uninstalling dx7 and reinstalling dx6.1 didn't make any difference to my video problems. At the risk of stating the obvious, make sure you do a complete back-up of all relevant files before uninstalling dx7. I reinstalled dx6.1 from the F2k CD, then ran dxdiag which identified a ton of missing/outdated files. I've just given up on that approach and reinstalled dx7.

I've also got some video problems, stuttering play etc.. and I've also been wondering whether it has anything to do with dx7? Anybody been having problems with 6.1?
