View Full Version : Road to the World Cup 2006?
RobbieD_PL 01-12-2004, 10:23:AM Can EA go back to the good old days where in FIFA 98 we had all national associations for the World Cup qualifiers, not just the AFC CONMEBOL CONCACAF & UEFA as was the case in FIFA 2002. EA should correct this problem that has been leading to discouraging sales...
Olly-Henry89 01-12-2004, 11:16:AM "what for" EA or some else will make a SEPRATE game called "ROAD TO THE WORLD CUP 2006" so there is No Use of putting it in the Game FIFA 2006 That's My Opinion. :) :hump:
jefferson goh 01-12-2004, 11:28:AM I don't want but Ea will surely make it so they would earn more money!

Yeah that wont happen, i guess that Spain '82 will be our last world cup forever ....
But i'm not the only one here, Australia wont go to a WC ... they will always have to play an extra match with South American teams, and SA teams will always win them :rockman:
mooseknuckle 03-12-2004, 06:18:AM When you say all teams it means holland is in there too right. Why is Holland never in there, is it something to do with the copyright?
henry#14 03-12-2004, 06:33:AM yea it's got to do with getting the license for the dutch national team:( bring back RTWC so I can take South Africa to world cup glory.:D
better hope the gameplay not crap first
Brett 09-12-2004, 04:41:AM I want RTWC 2006, but done the right way.
EA can’t do this with out including a real good Team/Player Editor. You guys know that FIFA wont have all the licenses, so they better allow us to edit uniforms and players (like in FIFA 2002).
Without a GOOD Team/Player Editor this game will not be worth the money.
Look EA Canada, if you don’t have the time or money (yeah right, this is your #1 selling game!!!!!!!) to buy every license, give us the opportunity to fix what you can’t do.
It is so annoying when EA gives a good player like Farfan (PSV) the lowest possible ranking and skills imagined!!!!!!! So let me fix his abilities if you guys don’t have the manpower to properly research players or teams.
Don't
:hump: us EA
Lonestarr022 10-12-2004, 10:15:AM i liked doing that with WC 98, but the rosters for that game need to be updated

peru is a great team like anyother. peru, colombia, chile, uruguay, ecuador r all fighting for 5th place go to fifa.com
ChelseaCF 18-12-2004, 05:24:AM RTWC 98:rockman:
aBadBoy 18-12-2004, 05:49:PM they could put
all national teams like in 2002
all the clubs they have in 2005 ... or more clubs ...
but this will make the game 4 cds or 3 insted of 2
they should make the career mode better
like managing a national team or something like TCM .. and playing with real madrid for example without ronaldo and carlos or because they are playing for the national team
that would be cool

SB9Dragon 21-12-2004, 05:06:AM That would be utter BS if EA made FIFA 2006 and then a game called Road to the Worldcup 2006.

Hell yeah !! :rockman:
with all the national teams like in FIFA 98 and Fifa 2002
FIFA 98 is still the best compared to FIFA 2002. :)
In FIFA 2002, I think the RTWC were incomplete. Some of the regions (Africa & Oceania zone RTWC) were missing in the features. :(
JFG_Lancer 13-01-2005, 02:50:PM I hope they have one!!!
MeTaLhEaD 14-01-2005, 12:17:AM YEs RTWC :bouncy:
deftonesmx17 25-01-2005, 11:47:PM how about the money grubbers at ea just put it in fifa 2006, i dont want to buy a whole new friggin game to be able to play the world cup
Bummy_JaB 27-01-2005, 04:45:AM Wait isnt RTWC 98 the game where u qualified BUT than u didnt get to play in the world cup itself??????
or am i thinking of another game??
FIFA 98 rocked though....
Ash_Clarke 05-10-2005, 11:32:PM Have you seen this?
www.easports.com/games/fifa06/index.jsp
Scroll down the news section to the RTWC news post. That tells you the features.
Secondly have you seen the xbox 360 video?
http://www.gamespot.com/xbox360/sports/fifa2006/
Look for links to xbox 360 videos.
They look amazing.
I want next-gen FIFA in all forms!!
Cheers

The game has around 3-4 weeks of development time left. The game will be available on 360 launch. EA will only be making tweaks here and there.
NK.
QuikZilver 06-10-2005, 12:51:AM peru is a great team like anyother. peru, colombia, chile, uruguay, ecuador r all fighting for 5th place go to fifa.com
Peru and Bolivia are eliminated and Ecuador is practically in.
Colombia, Venezuela, Uruguay, and Chile are fighting for the 5th spot
Internazionale 06-10-2005, 04:56:AM EA dissappoints me.
I thought EA have money to buy licenses like they did in RTWC 1998. Why EA ? You could make full license for EURO 2004 & CL game. But, you can't do it exclusively on the RTWC 2006 ?! :taz:
