Hey guys,

Hope you enjoy the CC so far. I had fun making it

Some important notes here.

1. Make sure you have the .NET framework installed on your PC.
2. Read the readme.txt file that comes with package.
3. Read the FAQ file that comes with the package.

When all fails, post a message here but look through to see if your questions have been answered elsewhere in the Forum. This will reduce the time I need to read the duplicated problems and give more time to work on the real issues.

If you get an error message make sure you write down what it is. Better still, if there is a button on the message box labelled "Details" then click on it, note down (or copy) the details display and post them with your message.

The CC is in no way perfect, there will be the occasional glitches but I am intend to give it the best shot. Please be patient with me because I have other pressing commitments.

This weird!

The CC looks up the registry for the installed folder of FIFA 2005.

Check your registry in HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\EA Sports\FIFA 2005\Install Dir

Do not mess with the registry unless you are absolutely sure.

If all fails, uninstall and re-install FIFA 2005. The CC works best with a fresh copy of FIFA 2005.

When it comes to the part of updating Windows installer it says can't acces Windows Installer and cant finish installation? Please help

i cant reinstall FIFA 2005 bc my cd 2 doesnt work, meaning that when i use it to play fifa it just flashes a couple of black screens and returns to the desktop, and i dont have that directory for FIFA 2005 in my registory...

Also some thing odd. All i have in the EASports reg folder are folder for both CC's of 2004 and 2005, nothing for the games I have installed... :o :confused:

Is there anyway that i can add a new folder to the EASports registry and add that string of info?

I got the cc to work fine,but i cant see that there is a readme or FAQ file in the zipfile,have browsed the cc directory, can't see them there eighter!
can anyone tell me where to find them,cuz i would like to read them before i start to change somthing that i dont know enything about!

Unforunatly I get an error message if I try to install CC. It appears after the "Install Factory" window is closed.

I attached the error message in german, but I try to translate it as good as possible:

"Irsetup.exe - Point of entry (??) not found

Entry to procedure (??) "SetHandleContext" has not been found in the DLL "KERNEL32.dll"."

Of course I've installed the .net framework. I hope you can help! Thanks in advance for the help and the hopefully great tool! ;)

I've transfered some players and now ingame almost all of the players of EVERY team in the game are lost :(

Can you give a step by step as to what you did? It may be that your career settings conflict with the changes you've made with the CC...

Hmm I just dragged Chong-Gug Song from Feyenoord to Suwon Bluewings (Korea) and André Bahia from Flamengo to Feyenoord.

Then in Teammanagement the only player I see in Feyenoord is B. Ventura. And in Playerselection I don't see any players at all.

I noticed that there were many people that had the same problems like me with .NET Framework and CC2005

I managed to get everyting right and now CC works great :)

1. Make sure you have .NET Framework v1.1 not 1.0 (if you have 1.0 you will get an error about a dll file in the windows folder), get .NET Framework from here: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=262d25e3-f589-4842-8157-034d1e7cf3a3&displaylang=en - it's in the readme :p

2. If you can't install .NET Framework v1.1 (Windows installer error)do this. Open with winzip the dotnetfx.exe and extract it intro a temporary folder. Now in that folder you will have 5 files, run netfx.msi and now you will be able to install .NET Framework v1.1 and run CC2005

I have a portuguese FIFA2005 version. The CC seems to work just fine, but when I run FIFA, all the database is gone!!! I can't understand why this happens. I guess the changes are stored in the "fifa.db" file (as it happened with CC2004) and this should be an universal file, which has nothing to do with the language's version of the game (which should only afect the commentaries, since the menu leanguage is on the eng.db, por.db, etc. files).
Have you got any idea what the problem is? I checked tht there are more persons with the same problem.
I sincerely hope that it doesn´t come that, because of my country's version, I cannot use the CC2005.

I have the same seedmaker`s problem,
I reinstall my fifa and CC but the problem appears everytime when i try to see the teams in league.I dont have any patch installed. and I installed the framework 1.1 Portuguese version. I think the problem could be the incompatibility with language... i really dont know exactly

CC itself is great, but how come I can only play friendlies and in career mode there are no teams in regions 2, 3, 4 and 5?

I have got some problems for you Chau:
1. When i import mini head, or face it doesn't appear in CC and in Fifa 2005 there are white heads in game
2. When i import new kits or flags the game crash
3. In some computers there people can't import new chants to Fifa 2005
4. When i play 2 teams with 2gk kits and with 2gf faces game crash

I'm from spain, and i have spanish version of FIFA2005. Creation centre dont work fine with spanish version.

I unistalled spanish version and install ENGLISH version and now i think it works fine.

I dont like to play in english but i think there is a problem with spanish version and creation centre

BUG:

When you create teams with generic kits, ingame the kits doesn't appear. It says NO TEXTURE. Also the same with adboards, etc.

same problem for me
with windows 98
i have copy the gdiplus.dll in the creation centre folder
but it not helps

i can edit some things if i go to Search (Teams or Players)
but can not edit

My problem: when I import a kit with CC the game crashes to Windows during the match if even one of the two teams has 2gk kits.
Really discouraging, maybe is better not to publish programs if is so complicated to find stability with the game...every year is a too tiring trial make CC work fine with Fifa even for the same author.

I'm glad your CC work fine... I've read about LOTS of problems but I would like to hear from more people who DON'T have any problems... just so I know roughly how many people have the problems and how many don't.

Anyway, Surfy and Luigi, did you guys have any patches installed beforehand? Did you do any editing of the .db or adding any kits or creating squads? What language do you run?

Nah mate about 2 days ago i totally cleared my fifa, Deleted every single patch kits and every was back to default, after that i went in to My Fifa 2005 and deleted my career and squads and settings, and made it the same when i first bought it. I ran it on english to mate. ;) Also i didn't edit anything with db. So just delete the db mate.

i dont have a problem editing, but in the game somethimes it wont work

Wait a sec the CC ain't perfect it kinda screws up your fifa, even if its clean it's not good region's 2 to 5 disappeared on mine and can't play career. Wait was not worth it. :( Sorry

I used a faulty team, it still worked. Career mode is working, thanks to the new region 6 my mate made, I've finished the ENG.DB fully, so lots of editing, no crashes, just a lot better!

Hmmm, too bad. I think i'll wait to download CC. Seems like a repeat of last years frustration.
The raptors are problematic this year too but it seems there's less probs with the raptors.

Really check regions 2 to 5 no teams will give you offers.

All 6 regions work.

i jus have a small question!
in the cc i see united have the 3th kit(the white one)but in the game u can only choose the home and away kit!
is there any way to get to choose all 3 in the game?
it s not in the fifa shop but in the CC,so there's got to be a way to choose it?

in response to the 3rd kits, you need to unlock them in the My FIFA Store - completely unrelated to CC.

if u take your time to read my post u can read that the united 3th kit arent in the shop,has never been there eighter so if u can unlock them in the store, u must be a miracle man!

Theres a Bonus Stadium unlocker which unlocks 20 hidden kits (Including Man Utd Third Kit)and Stadio Olimpico and Ali Samiyen but i'd advise not to get it it'll probably fvck up your CC. :(

Ok, REZZA, so how did you install english version? You bought a brand new copy of FIFA2005?! Don't you think it is somewhat "strange" that now everybody must have an english version to be able to use CC2005? And most: that everybody must give away another 50€ to EA Sports??? If CC2004 was universal (I had it in english and my FIFA was portuguese) how come that this one isn't (the edited files are exactly the same, "fifa.db" and "eng.db")? And why doesn't EA Sports release the CC or any kind of editor with the copy of the game (as Konami does)?! Too weird for me...

Ok, I was reeeeally hoping the realise of C.C and now after reading all the bug reports and all the problems Im sooo scare to use it...

I tell you one thing I have Fifa 2005 in spanich and I wont buy the english vertion just to use CC

Try changing the language to english then rename spa.db as eng.db.
I had to do that originally 'cuz the FIFA that i :drevil:buyed:drevil: you couldn't choose spanish though it had the files.

i had to uninstall the holand patch 3.0 and the music mixer path since i had to reinstall the whole game with the CC2005. If i reinstall them now will it work. Please answer guys...

When I try to open a league i get this message

I get that sometimes but it does nothing i just click on continue and then i close CC and start it again. :D

I had sort of the same problem. I created a league ,a team and players from that team. One of those players i traded to Inter and the game crashed. It crashed too when i went looking for the new league i created. And the holland patch didnt work either so i was stuck with Hungary
Ive already installed my game from scratch twice and nothing i need is in the ream me file

This a very importanyt feauture for the CC
Ive read the career mode bug is getting fixed so basically what you really need your cc2005 for is
1-Creating new leagues and teams
2-editing existing players
3-Creating formations(as in moving player inside a formation)
4- Moving players from national teams to clubs without them losing their spot and viceversa
Everything else i can get from patches around the fifa circuit.
Chau i thank you for your work and hopefully you can make thi CC work as well or better than the 04 version

All my players in the career mode have disappeared. So, I can't play my 12year career anymore...
Does someone know how to fix this ??

I have seen people who have problems with creating new teams, leagues, adding kits, adding faces...

But does anybody have crashing problems if you transfer a player? to me this is the main reason to get C.C and I want to know if my game will crash if I made a player transfer

creation center should have told us we may as well forget about editing fifa. creation center this year is hopeless. . all it is doing is frustrating us and wrecking our game

Hooray, I've managed to get it worked. Here's what I've done.

I completely deleted FIFA, incl. the My Documents folder and all patches and stuff. Then I installed Frameworks, and reinstalled FIFA. Then I renamed data/cmn/fe/ eng.db to [your installed language].db. Then install CC and it should work.

I created a team but when I played with them in FIFA the kits were green and orange but I set the colour to be blue. I don't know if I have done something wrong with the kit. Please can someone help!

Well i tried removing 2 players, leaving it with 16 and i can go to lineups/squads my FIFFA 2005 with no crash or anything, though it's somewhat useless, but if i go to lineups and/or squads in My FIFA 2005 with 17 or more players in the team i created it crashes.:kader:

PS: it only crashes with the team i created, doesn't happen with teams already in game.

What can I do about this? All i know is that after deleting two lines from table_playerwrite which had negative values i cant perform any editing...

EDIT: Now I cant even open any team to edit them all the tabs are blank for all the teams.

WHERE DID ALL THE LEAGUES GO? At the left side of the CC there is usually a list of leagues. Now, I get an error message at the start, and the list is EMPTY. I am so pissed.

Take a look at the attachment and you will see what I mean. The banner at the top is covering a very important part of the menu, and when comparing with the CC2005 screenshots taken by soccergaming mine simply did not leave a clear area for the picture and banner. Can somebody help us?

CC puts changes directly into your "FIFA.db". I suggest that you make a backup copy of fifa.db. It's located in C:/Program Files/EASports/data/cmn.

I suggest you to uninstall CC05 and wait for the update. However, uninstalling won't solve the problem, so you have to delete the "D.Squads" folder in my documents.
replace your data folder with the one in your CD1...

Arghhhh

Deleting the D. Squads (D. Equipos in my spanish version) solved the problem with the blank teams/crashes.

I made a carrer in FIFA 05 and then from CC I made some transfers.
When I'm loading my saved career there is no player in my team...

I did fresh install of CC and Fifa05. Made some transfers in CC but then was not able to select my team in career mode, was able to select them in tourny mode.

I also tried refreshing the CC and Fifa05 again and not transfering so many players, I was able to pick my team but have no players on my squad.

I'm just wondering, is there a limit to how many players and teams you can edit without the game crashing? Because I've imported 2Gkits for about 25 teams and imported like 20 faces and my game keeps crashing. I've done all the reinstalling and I've ran FATBH Builder.

I've followed your instructions, Chau. I don't use the fathbuilder in CC.
I use the soccer access FatBuildh. I was told it worked.

It seems to work better. Imported flags and some chants to various teams and i can usually play one game. But the second game always crashes and brings me to desktop.

The same thing happens whether i create a player in CC or not.
Why shouldn't the flags work?

Is there a limit to the file size of the zdata1. big file in the data folder ?
I want to know this so I can guage some idea of the number of teams/kits I can add to the game without it crashing back to the desktop.

Why doesn't someone who can actually get this creation center to work do all the editing then make the edited files availible for download, that way everyone could just replace the exsisting files.

same could be said for people who are editing the databases in other ways than using the creation center.

i think so many people want to add more leagues and players to the game, and thats great, theres many teams i have tried to add but with limited success, Creation centre works well to a certain degree, but again too many people can't get their head around it and its working only for a limited amount of people.

Another suggestion is to have a team of the best editors on this borad, kit makers, balls, boots, faces, mini kits and have them all come and work together to edit the files.

Well, as for giving you my files...I would be happy too. The only thing is that you'd have to be a major fan of the English leagues because that's all I've paid any attention to. I'm still in the process of completing some of the older Football League transfers, and getting starting 11s and player ratings right. So far no major problems. So far...don't want to jinx myself.

I alway get this erreur since i've installed CC, i was never able to get it to work.

I have these problems when using CC:

Chants & banners/flags don't appear in the game after I add new ones.

Can't see the team id numbers anywhere.

I was using it successfully for a bit, then once I loaded the 3rd game of my career, ALL team squads were now gone. I believe each team did have just one player. I think one of these players was named Johnny John or something like that.

I did make a copy of my entire data folder but that didn't work either. Luckily I wasn't too far into any tournaments at that point.

I guess this program is only useful to me if I never start a career and only use it to create teams and tourneys. Hope the bugs get fixed since this is an awesome program. Thanks for reading.

ANother ? when i import logo to my created club and then export the club to bring it back the next time i edit it, the logo doesnt return the next time, why doesnt it appear when i open it again?

I've downloaded CC, installed it and everything works fine except I can't seem to create players ingame! After I create one... I go to CC and it gives some message about how I can't edit the rosters while folder "Fifa 2005 user" exists then it prompts me to move it, hence losing my created player. Can anyone help me with this?

I have installed the new version of CC and have only made less than 10 changes. Stuff like changing collars, number colours and the whole thing has in best Stilian Petrov style has taken a dive.

If someone out there can write a "converter" so that we can import Creation Centre 06 teams into Creation Centre 2005. I tried this and of course, it crashed.
Although it's unlikely that anyone will even read this post never mind respond to it...we can but dream.

Or....failing the appearance of a converting utility,A thread where we can all share and download the CC.05 team files that we have already.I know that there are people still making team files for fifa 2005,and it would be cool if someone who was able to make them would open a request thread maybe.Personally i would be willing to search for flags,rosters,kits etc.Its just that i dont know how to put them all together into one file.I cant see it happening though.......... :)

I can´t install minikits,I can´t change fonts,I can´t import the goalkkeper kit to teams that doesn´t use that kit,for example,The FC Porto,have home and away kit,but I import the Gk kit ,I save changes,but when I want to play the game all the players are erased,and when I importe the minikits,I run the fathbhbuilder to play the game but the game doesn´t start

Wow you are in a fix. What version of CC are you using? I have Version 1.3.0.27 and it works great. I'm not sure but I think there were problems with earlier versions. I also use Fatbhder Build 20.exe to regenerate the Fat files. These 2 programs seem to work without any problems.

I think you may have to re-install Fifa and start all over again and restore the game to its defaults. Then with the above programs try again and see how you go.

Some important notes here.

1. Make sure you have the .NET framework installed on your PC.
2. Read the readme.txt file that comes with package.
3. Read the FAQ file that comes with the package.

When all fails, post a message here but look through to see if your questions have been answered elsewhere in the Forum. This will reduce the time I need to read the duplicated problems and give more time to work on the real issues.

If you get an error message make sure you write down what it is. Better still, if there is a button on the message box labelled "Details" then click on it, note down (or copy) the details display and post them with your message.

The CC is in no way perfect, there will be the occasional glitches but I am intend to give it the best shot. Please be patient with me because I have other pressing commitments.

You can install the kits into the game with KITRAPTOR for Fifa 2005. I think you might find it in the downloads section of Soccergaming. If not I can send it to you if you have an email adress I can use. Kitraptor is very easy to use too.(Y)
