TSN in Canada is showing EURO 2K for free. I think BBC is free in England, I am not too sure about elsewhere. I know that sometimes on CBCWorld we will get selected BBC shows (News, SportsShows, TalkShows, etc), but I do not know about the rest of the world.

NEARLY EVERY EURO2000 GAME IS LIVE IN THE UK.

ON BBC AND ITV. FREE OF CHARGE(APART FROM TV LICENSE)I HAVE DIGITAL ANYWAY(NO EURO2K GAMES ON IT).

BBC IS GOVERNMENT CHANNEL.

ITV and BBC are free to air as the TV Licence is compulsory in the UK. BBC1 and ITV will show all games live between them, and where there is a game at the same time as an England game that both are showing, it will be shown on their free-to-air digital channels, BBC Choice and ITV2. BBC Radio 5 Live are broadcasting every game live - it is available on live RealAudio but I am not sure if they own the Euro 2000 webcast rights - if not then the RealAudio webcast is no-go.

BBC suck and need to move with the times! Their sports coverage has been severely disintegrated over the years, and watching it is just boring. I'm watching ITV's coverage, even though we try to get away from Des...

Drinky - the TV licence is compulsory only cos the BBC don't show advertising! Why should we pay TV licencing if the bloody programmes are either **** or old repeats that you can watch on UK Gold anyway?

I'm glad Sky didn't get the Euro 2000 TV rights, otherwise a lot of people would have missed out.

BBC Choice is available to all digi-customers, but ITV2 is only on "poor man's" digital...

For the record - the BBC isn't the GOVERNMENT channel. It is a free channel funded by the license fee (compulsory) therefofre without advertising. It is not owned or financed by the goverment, athe government has no control of it's output.

WHERE DOES THE LICENSE FEE GO TO???
WHO DISTRIBUTES THE FUNDS TO SELECTED AREAS OF THE BBC?

THE LICENSE FEE GOES TO THE BBC
BBC BOARD OF DIRECTORS DISTRIBUTES FUNDS.
NOT THE GOVERNMENT!
