Unfortunately, there are no plans to create a patch that allows the highest
resolutions. PES4 does however, support very low resolutions and up to 1080.
Sometimes, companies who make high end graphics cards, create their own
patch that supports the higher resolutions, however at the moment such
resolutions are not the norm and are very often omitted from PC games (more
often, games that are not exclusively made for the PC).

Well I have a 6800 GT but could care less how far I can go with resolution, but I am at 1280x1204 if you want to know and everything is high. The game looks great, since I haven't seen it in AA I don't really care. If I was able to enable then I would and if I can't , it's okay the game still rocks

we has to run WE7i on 640-480 and we still very happy about it since WEI on 640-480 still looks much beter than FIFa 2004 on 1024-768. What the heck is wrong with you?

I have a old GF4 TI4200 128mb and can't get above 800x600 MED without the game frame skipping, looks the ball moves in stages at times and the players shimmer and vibrate and thats with 800x600 but going from MED to HIGH, if I put the res up I get the same thing!

But it doesn't matter that much I tried the game at 1280x1024 high and could not see that much difference in the stadiums or the players

why aa. my aniostropic works? what porb do you guys have with it?

aa and af doesnt seem to be supported matt even if forced on in the control panel,i have 6aa and 16af on and notice no diff,jaggies remain,particurly the goalposts and nets but at least its not as bad as the ps2 version

its simple ... you dont like buy fifa i think anyone whos unhappy will soon get over minor graphic issues

To be honest i don't see what the big deal is. I can run with a resolution of 2048 *1024 and there is no problem.
Let's face it , if we could only play in 640*480 it would not matter as long as you could play pro 4.

who cares, there really isnt that much of a difference once you go past 1024x768, if you have a nice GFX card anyways you can turn on both AA/AF in the control panel and it will force the game to run under it, hell my old geforce 2 in my server box lets you do that let alone any newer card like my 9500 pro

u dun like it u dun buy it. I run PES4 on A9600XT and even on 2.8 with 1b ram i run it on 1280x1024 high detail and my graphic options via drivers are all set to full. (AA 4x and AF 8x)

even if aa and af is turned on in your cp it doesnt mean it'll will work,i have 6aa and 16af on with my x800xt and it doesnt work coz the game DOESNT support it

Basically i just set that resolution on the settings page, and that's it.
I have a radeon 9800 pro
pentium 4 3000mhz cpu
1 gig 400mhz ram.

I do have to run radlinker to stop me getting those squiggly lines though, and i have it on high detail.

LOL i've just remembered the good old days..playing FIFA96 in 320x240 and then i got pentium and i could turn the res to 640x480 and it was amazing!!!

And 640x480 is still AMAZING!!! :D

And now, as i play PES on 1024x768, it's like ultra uber over the top amazing. And that's just graphics. Gameplay is beyond words.
What more do you need here??! :rockman:


Ok so they wont make the patch for higher resollutions but at least they replied to you unlike many other tech supports out there.

Can you post their e-mail? Because i would like to know if they are doing something on the actual bugs in PES4, bugs which prevent me from playing the game with sound tuned on, for example.
