i just played it and yes its pretty good i would give it a 8.9 i love how the goalkeepers react and the coach stuff is awesome. i will be getting it for ps2 and pc

fast thoughts after 1 game:

the intro is just awesome!... real video from CL, i can see
Arsenal vs Celta, Shevshenko, Chelsea, Beckham, Buffon, Bayern,
Porto Celebrating his CL winning... :D

the create-a-coach is a good idea (disabled in demo)...

the team must reach some club goals like goaling soon or don't being carded...

i hate the black bars... it's like a 16:9 film.. but it's not good for a football game (where is the radar again?)...

stadiums and grass looks much better...

gameplay looks like fifa2005, goalkeepers move more realistic i think. there is a movement with right analog stick i can't make
yet (when i'm running in a direction, right analog to opposite side... seems not to work as in fifa 2005)...

demo is chelsea-bayern, seems i can select only chelsea, full 90
minutes match, first leg only.

After playing the demo I can write that things:

IMO Looks like full version of this game will be one BIG piece of sh!t. :kader:
Hopeless camera, hopeless style of creating actions and this sh!t window with coach....oh and black bars

There's only two god things:
Intro, and menus

just played it ;

the black bars are strange - but doesn't seem to bother me...

presentation - great - better than 2005

gameplay - better - corner kicks are much improved - they still don't have volleys and lofts down - its too mechanical- midfield gets more involved...

if you like 05 - you will like this
I didn't like 05 - but might buy this

in a week or so, hopefully we will have a demo expander.

Yes Fabio, when i Save Changes an unexpected error comes, but the game isn't affected. What can i do?

Main features:
You can only play one match of Season Mode using Chelsea. In the one and only match you play against Bayern Munich in a full game (2 halves). You can't control Bayern and if you pretend to change controls on "Select Sides" it's impossible =( Making a patch to solve this seems difficult but not impossible...

The intro to the match is impressive IMO, with the main theme of the Champions League. Nice camera positions, nice shots :)

Why in the hell EA made this game??? It is a freaken joke, are they kidding?!??! Who they think will buy this upChampinsleagued FIFA 2005? It is nonsence.

Dont buy this game guys, give EA a lesson...

This is strange, if you go to http://www.uefachampionsleaguegame.ea.com which is the officical site, you have to choose a language. If you choose German or English, it doesn't have a link to the demo. However, if you chose Belgian, French, Italian or Dutch, it gives you a link to the demo. That's very odd.

My Pros and Cons list for the Demo:

Pros:
1. UEFA CL Style Menus
2. UEFA CL anthem
3. UEFA CL Intro video, just like before every real UCL match.
4. Different unlockables avaliable

Cons:
1. No Play Now mode avaliable
2. Only one team is avaliable to use for the Season Mode (Chelsea)
3. EA Talk Radio is :sb9:
4. Slow reaction to the pressing of buttons on the keyboard
5. Corner and free kick system has changed (so much so that i cant choose what kind of kick i want to utlise) there should be a tutorial for this new system for the demo.
6. The black band at the top and bottom of the screen, i feel like i'm watching an interactive DVD :mrpimp: which is very arcadish imo.
7. No settings choice.
8. Only half of the QF is avaliable, this is just like the half-a-match thing we had with previous FIFA/Football Competition Games demos.
9. I cant think of anything for pt 9 but i will l8r.

The demo is big dissapointing for me. It's near the same as FIFA 2005. Same gameplay (just some new things like corner and freekick system), same graphics.

IS the demo zoom working?

The time option for demo zoom isn't working

Demo zoom doesnt work at all for me, get an exe error when try to save and launch.

To be clear...

Demo zoom ISN'T WORKING... I've test it on several sistems and dosen't work...

About that error you get: You have to install the demo FIRST, and AFTER that install demo zoom, and when it ask where to install choose ucl 04-05 demo install directory...

But, why bother? Isn't working either...

I played the demo last night. It's ok, but I won't play it again, because I can't run it in 1024x768.

I've update the Demo Zoom guys download it again. Some features don't work like half time or neverending game :(

I ain't even gunna bother playing it...doesn't deserve the time spent downloading it.

Anyone who actually buys this game is throwing their money out the window.

I could of stuck a couple of Champions league patches on kits, make all the CL menus and stick the Star ball all over the box go to Kmart, say I want a refund cause I haven't opened it and get my money back, cause seriosuly that's what EA did.
