So yes after 6 years of watching the premier league I am finally going to be able to see my first live premiership game! I'll be going to London for spring break and will be able to see Chelsea play Crystal Palace at Stamford Bridge on the 19th of March. Basically since I have no idea what Stamford bridge looks like I was wondering if any of you here in the forums that have been to STamford bridge before can give me some advice on stuff, like where to buy the tickets, as well as the best seats, etc. I'd really appreciate that! Thanks in advance :)

Well, goto CFCNet.co.uk and signup there.

More Chelsea fans there and alot of them are in London and attend games regularly and they will help you out no problems.

I'd try and get a seat in the MHL but the club better not give it away to the Palace fans.

When the train from London to Manchester crashes, you should get a ticket (y)

Being at the match will give you such a ******* buzz, one that has no come down because you will always remember it. The hairs on the back of your neck will stand up on end when the thousands around you are cheering and shouting. The side of being a football fan you can never experience when watching on a TV.

Two speakers, four speakers, 66 speakers or even 400 feet of TV screen can never match the excitement, noise and atmosphere of actually being at a match.

I hope you enjoy the experience.

Only place to but tickets is chelseafc.com, but they are not on sale yet. Will go on sale to members first and if there are any left they will go on general sale at a later date. But remember this is a London derby so you may not be able to get tickets as it wouldn't suprise me if it sell out to members and season ticket holders.

You almost certainly wont be able to get seats in the Matthew Harding Stand lower as it season tickets only, unless you want an impaired view seat. Avoid the East Upper, I sat up there for the Newcastle game and the atmopshere was really quiet, I was the only person in my block singing at the start- its that bad.

You should know that if you have supported Chelsea for a long time.
When I go to Old Trafford one day, I know prscicsely where I'd sit.

(Top of the Stretty for those interested, good view and I can sing my head off)

Season ticket through One United is the way to go then, you need to book tickets at the start of the season or about 3 weeks from match day.

You can turn up on match days, there should be spares at the ticket office if it is not a big match(Liverpool, City, Arsenal). Not every home match sells out if you check the attendances, even though Middlesbrough at Old Trafford this season was a home record since the introduction of seats, not every ticket was sold, and some will send their tickets back if they can't make it to the game. If your an adult, then prices vary - depending on where you sit - between £21-£29 for members and £26-£34 if your a non-member. If your thinking about applying for a season ticket(28,000 ST/LMTB holders at OT) then good luck to you, because there are also thousands on the waiting list, prices vary between £350-500 depending on the stand of your choice. I'll be applying once Old Trafford has been expanded(thats if Trafford council/planning department can ever pull their finger out) to 75,000, by the time the stadium expansion has been completed I'll be able to afford it.

If you want, you can join the club's official membership scheme 'One United' for £25. Becoming a Match Member allows you to buy tickets, but its not as easy as that. If a match has been oversubscribed then you take part in a ballot between 100,000 other members whereas only 25,000 seats are available, its basically a lottery to determine the successful applicants.

If your thinking about attending one of United's Champions League Home games, tickets for those matches usually end up on General Sale to the public, so they are the easiest to get. Good luck pal.

I thought it was about all the Man Utd glory supporters in the south east, and very few supporters in Manchester. Maybe not tho by the look of it?
