Hey guys,

I've been working on some of the problems that you guys are having with the CC.

The engineers at EA are also busy helping me to analyse the crash that some of us are having in the game.

I'll be able to give you a more accurate report after the weekend when we have done a bit more work on it.

In the mean time thanks for being patient.

can you tell me what version of Windows do you have on your PC?

It happens on mine on XP and some bloke has that error on 98, Anyway chau thanks for doing this is really appreciate it mate. :)

I have used CC and edited my team that I have been using for 5 seasons now. I went to load the same team up like always and it loaded np and when I went to look at Squad they were gone I tried to still play next match but it dropped the screen size down and I saw the desktop and then it died and said error do you want to send. I am using Windows XP pro SP2.

Also if I try to start a new Career I get to the point in selecting a team and there are no teams. I still hit select on the blank screen and it dies back to windows desktop this is the same error again. "fifa2005.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience."


I wonder if SP2 in XP is the issue, allot of companies are having issues with it now in there new releases. :(

These are not true problems but annoyances :
Could you please work on the 25 players pro team limitation ?
In my precedent roster updates at Sweetpatch I managed to get 28 players ( 29 makes the game crash ) in a team with Access/UniDb.
25 is too restrictive , a lot of teams have more players.
I also would like to say that I'd prefer to have the names of the players in the field roster screen ( as it was in your precedent CC's ) and not the faces images. It makes team management not so easy

Yup for eg Juve they have more than 25 players and Mark Iuliano got deleted.

yup, 28 players is also how many players Anderlecht have got.
Club Brugge has also got 28 players.
Genk has 31 players.
etc.

Looks like by popular demand the number of players limit will be raised to 28.

Thanks, and... ask your testers to ... test ;)

1-Havent been able to edit players without crashing
2-Havent been able to create players without crashing
3-Havent been able to create teams/leagues without crashing
4-No offers from some zones in career mode.

(BTW There`s a holland patch outhere, i installed but the teams didnt load. It would be great there would some way to allow some patches to work with the CC

My game crashes too when I make substitutions in career mode. I have windows XP.

YEs chau you can have 28 player but not 29, 29 will crash it

Also, I have decaptated players in the replay. The game seems to crash and have problems when I edit players in the creation centre.

I have the Spanish version of Fifa 2005

Even if I copy and paste my backup of the info I had from before I used the CC, I get the same info and results.

What gives on this, I can not even go back to the way it was before with the backup I made.

Three other problems:

1) It seems to be impossible to activate long sleeves (I've tried to set various values in the appropriate box, but nothing)

2) If you add a third kit with CC to teams who haven't, then you still can't select it in the game.

3) If you change the line up and subs of a team in CC, then (also in friendly mode or if you start a new game) it becomes impossible to manage it in the game (players overlaps, displacements have no effects and a lot of confusion).

Nearly everyone has the regions 2 to 5 missing, its got to be fixed.

It seems we should be reporting and fixing the issues of people not able to play at all first than take care of the minor issues like long sleeves and kits. At least you can see players and teams and play the game. We can not.

Come on Chau give us the patch to fix the game not working and players not showing up/ teams.

I just fully deleted me CC, so i can play me god damn fifa again. :(

Hey Idea.


Someone post the fifa.dat they edited in CC that works. With no kits or mods. And we can try it to see if it is a PC issue. Just an Idea.

I don't know if you have read the Bug Thread, but on page 3 I posted a "bug" that I have with new teams. They don't show up as a part of the league, only the old teams - which accually I moved to rest of the world.

I just want it to work first. That is the most important issue here. Get everyone able to use it then add some features.

I never installed any kits or add-ons.

I have about 29 players for liverpool in my game and the game doesn't crash;)

Just a short question if anyone can answer:

what causes the "arithmetic overflow" bug? I managed to start CC2005 afterwards, but all the stadium and formation ID's were gone, so the game didn't work. Didn't do much harm though, I reinstalled FIFA and CC, reimported the teams, and it's OK now.

I had positive reports from the testers that this bug has been fixed.

C'mon Lads It'll be out when he is ready for it to be released. He wont give you a definite release date as if he misses it everyone will complain. I can gurantee you that Chau will release it when it is upto his incredibly high standards.

When you substitute a plyer during a match, the game crashes back to desktop... :(

Arithmetic operation resulted in an overflow (caused by corrupted database).

Top banner too large and obscured team/player window.

Raise the number of players limit to 28.

I have re installed Fifa 2005 and then installed the Updaded CC and i can't get any players in my cereer mode. anyone had the same prob and if so how do you repair it?
