I think in 2006 they should try commenting on the names of most (if not all) of the teams. Instead of saying:

"The last time they met , the home team beat the away team 1 nil ect. ect."

Say:

"The last time they met, Manchester City beat Charlton 1 nil"

Having the actual team names makes the game sound more authentic.

Also, how much does it take to record Motson saying one player name, really? I would really like it if more players had their names mentioned. And GOALIES. Being one myself I am annoyed at the lack of attention EA pays them.

The question is, If John Motson is back for 2006. UCL 2005 Uses Clive Tyldsley and Andy Gray - therefore I imagine all the commentary will have to be re recorded, they won't be able to re use last years for some samples.

The commentary have to be more varied, when in the lower divisions not many people get recognised.
