I'd love to see a return of the "classic" teams to FIFA, and maybe a couple of classic Stadiums as well. It'd also be nice if these teams all had their authentic strips too. Just imagine pitting Manchester United's Busby Babes, against the dominating Real Madrid of Di Stefano and Puskas etc - or England's heroes of 66 against the England of 1990. I seem to remember FIFA 2000 having this mode, but it never made it into the later ones.

Yes, this would be an unlockable worth playing for. In NBA Live they have decadal all-star teams, and it's really a hoot to play with Cousy, Chamberlain, Pistol Pete, or Dr. J. Obviously people want to see this in FIFA, but the real question is, which teams would we put on there? Here are a few I would suggest:

Arsenal 2003-2004
Manchester United 1998-1999
Liverpool late 70's/early 80's
Ajax early 70's
Real Madrid late 50's
Denmark 1992
England 1966
Argentina 1986
Brazil 2002, 1970, 1958
France 1998, 2000
U.S.A. 1950 ;)

Getting the real players for these teams might be expensive, which could be the deal breaker. I mean as much as I would love to play as Denmark 1992, if it's not really Schmeichel in goal it's not worth it.

Now what if they did do that but gave you the option to change names and abilities of the players. I mean in Madden 2005 they have historical teams but they have no names. Only the player numbers, but you had the option to change there names etc.. Now the question is, would you sacrafice time to correct everything just to have the classic teams and kits or just not want this in if they cant get it right?

Bring back MARADONA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Heck, bring them all back...
And yes, that would be rewards worth playing for!!!!!!! Who cares about unlocking freaking balls, the ability to play at night and a ref; that stuff should be opened from the get go...

They should have 3 classic world cup options: 1974, 1982, 1990.

Yes, I´m all for this option. Bring back those teams like you said. Why not Austria of the 30s? Torino of 1949? Sweden 1958, Italy 1970 and so on.

Yes they've got this in MVP Baseball 2005, first you've got to unlock all the legendary players then you can unlock all the legendary teams, and you have the option to use the legendary players in career mode so when you unlock them they appear in the free agents, they have classic stadiums as well, ones from 1905, and there's no colour the actualy game is in black and white, we should do this with Fifa as well. :D
