I'm hoping I can get some honest impartial advice.

I have FIFA99 and I think it's great.

All the reviews I've read on FIFA2000 don't really tell you what the game has (and doesn't have.

From the demo I've seen the graphics aren't that much better - but demos aren't that indicative of full games.

How does FIFA2000 compare to FIFA99 and is it worth the extra money ??

I can honestly say a couple of things about the FIFA 2000 and FIFA 99, In fifa 2000 the crowd animation and the shadows cast by players have been improved.
The hair colouring (brown looks like gold)and jersey numbers in FIFA 2000 suck completely. Do not buy this game unless you are going to buy a pirated CD.
To make it worthwhile you need to download a new ball, new pitches and need to tweak the rosters, whereas Fifa 99 was good when it was completely uncustomised.
Only buy a Pirate copy!. Or borrow a friends Copy of it and download the NO-CD crack from Www.crackstore.com

Here is my honest assessment of the graphics(Im talking about playstation version): if you got someone who never saw either game to look at FIFA 2000 and FIFA 99 side by side, they would not be able to tell which one is the new game, now that is very bad considering the technology is supposed to move constantly forward.

My overall advice to you is not to buy it, I was addicted to FIFA 99, but FIFA 2000 just left me cold, wishing I could get my money back. Any details you want you can post them here and I will reply, believe me there are many many things bad about this game, the graphics are the least of it.
